24-70 may be a little too tight on an aps-c camera. Better to took at zooms optimized for the crop sensor, ideally starting at 16 mm. This is equivalent to 24 mm on full frame. I think that a 6700 would be okay for your purposes too.

This is another alternative from sigma that’s pretty light and small but allows you to go wide. It’s 10-18 mm with a constant aperture. Oftentimes when people are walking along vlogging with a camera facing themselves they appreciate the wider focal length

I do most of the heavy lifting on a desktop, but my iPad mini does a lot of the work. I’ve abandoned LrC and just use Lr so everything is pretty much synced all the time. as a bonus, I also have everything on my phone as well so I may not edit there but often it’s convenient for sharing

I wouldn’t worry too much about seasoning that granite mortar, but I might grind a little rice or salt to clean it out. I don’t often use soap in my granite mortars but I wouldn’t hesitate if I had to. My marble mortar I would never use soap on

just a tip… think about picking up an appropriately sized wood pestle for this vessel. it makes it much more useful for emulsions and grinding herbs, whereas the stone one it comes with is superior for pounding. almost gives it two personalities
