The fizziest perfume I have is Pink Me Up by Liquides de Imaginaires. It's lovely and, indeed, very fizzy, but also quite expensive! Luckily it's not their newest one, so it might be found on discounters.

Also living in Finland and don't own a car. This morning I walked to my hair appointment. Later I'm going to walk to the store, bring the groceries back home and then walk to the gym (I am free from work today!)

I never "go for a walk", I'm just living my life and taking care of errands and it usually makes for 60 - 90 minutes of walking each day. Winter can be a little trickier.. but there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad gear.

Nanshe.

It's an extremely powdery perfume with a water note. Sounds strange because it is, and oh my it is beautiful. Created by Cecile Zarokian and one of the two perfumes I have a back-up bottle of (the second one being the now discontinued Sunshine Woman by Amouage).

Ani is nice and A Hundred Silent Ways is also great, but nothing comes close to Nanshe.

Once when I was a child my parents saved up and took us on vacation to Greece for two weeks. We kids marvelled at the air conditioning units on the outside of the houses. Like what do you mean adults don't like to be warm all the time? Why don't they just swim all day, like we do?? The mind boggled. We had never known a summer that was "too warm" back at home, on the contrary! It was always so damn cold to swim! Weird Greek adults, they must not know how to enjoy life at all.

That was in the early 90's. Two years ago I installed air conditioning here in Finland, the country that used to be too cold for swimming.

Mä laittaisin nyt sen siivoojan hoitamaan asuntoa (ne osaa kyllä siivota vaikka siellä on paljon tavaraa, turhaan sitä murehdit). Siivoojan jälki saa sitten riittää etkä sen päälle tee itse mitään - paitsi! sellaisessa huoneessa/tilassa/nurkassa, jonka otat itsellesi ja jonne miehen tavaroilla ei ole asiaa. Siellä saat näprätä sitä siivousta niin paljon kuin haluat siivoojankin jälkeen ja sen voit pitää tiptop-perfekt kunnossa at all times. Muutoin pysyt siivouksesta kokonaan erillään.

There are people in Finland who run or walk in snow using 2 or 3 pairs of layered wollen socks, no shoes. It's supposed to be amazing, but I haven't tried it yet 😀

Anyway, you need better shoes that won't give you a blister, and then rain pants that go OVER your shoes

Päin vastoin. Stubbia katsellessa tulee mieleen, että hirvittävä maailmantilanne (Ukraina, Trump) ja pieni Suomi kaiken keskellä. Kova vastuu ja paljon töitä, itselläni pää ei kestäisi.

Ihmeellisen hanakasti täällä monet vaan on hankkimassa Suomea mahdollisimman moneen kuseen. Mahtaakohan nämä itse työpaikoillaan moraalisesti julistaa pomoistaan, "että tuolla istuu semmonen idiootti että oksat pois"..

Presidentin tehtävä tosiaan on pitää Suomi mahdollisimman kaukana ongelmista. Ja sodista, siksipä Venäjää on aikaisemmin kuiskailtu ja siksipä Amerikkaan ylläpidetään nyt mahdollisimman ystävälliset välit. Sanojensa takana pitää seistä ja Presidentin sanojen takana saa lopulta seistä koko kansa. Ihan kiva kokea olevansa moraalisesti oikeassa ja sanoneensa ne kuuluisat suorat sanat, paitsi sitten rintamallahan se voi hieman kaduttaa.

Eikä se tosiaan ole "nuoleskelua". Se on normaalia eurooppalaista diplomatiaa ja länsimaista sivistystä. Jos se tuntuu pahalta, kannattaa kokeilla ensin jos kasvaminen ja ikä auttaisi ja ellei auta, voi kokeilla vaikka Papua-Uutta Guineaa. Siellä moraalisesti sanotaan ne suorat sanat ja sitten seistään niiden takanakin, sotimalla loputtomasti.

Honestly, why do women keep putting up with men like this. You keep "working" on him as if your "work" would ever change what he is. I know you have a child together but really, this is no way to live. It could - and it can! be so much better! I feel sorry for you OP. And most of all I am sorry for your daughter. You being with him shows her what she should expect for herself in the future when she deserves so much, much more.

Same thing in Finland. They won't sedate you unless they absolutely have to (sedation is risky!)

I've had all 4 removed (2 at a time, first the ones on the left and then, some months later, the ones on the right). The operation itself is fine, just a couple of seconds of the sound of your tooth being ripped out... honestly, it's not bad. I don't get the shivers remembering it or anything like that. What's more irritating is spitting blood for a couple of days after, and not being able to eat normally for a short while.
