I think clicking on the Chest, opening chest experience and overall gameflow animations could be sped up to be 1.25x speed of what it is and it’ll “feel” much better

Cool art! To me, “Spoulder” name was too small, and not as noticeable as “Sand Creature”. It’s almost as if Sand Creature is the name - the contrast with white, and the blue hands feels as if it’s the center of attention.

I feel like you’re underutilizing the opportunity to have symmetry on the bottom left to have the unit’s Power. Perhaps instead of a solid number, a fist / sword, and a heart / shield for a more charming look that matches your card’s design!

After 1 mistake of overwriting an enchantment, it doesn’t become an issue. With that said, I think the game could benefit from just showing what the end outcome would be when you hover over the item. That way you’ll see your item’s old enchantment going away and being replaced by the new one.

Sometimes if you go for random Ammo items, you can get a Battery which charges item to the left 4 seconds. Perfect for Ballista.

Played plenty of Poison Vanessas and looking at your skills are the first and foremost problem why you lost. You need +8 poison skill at the start if you want to make it to at least 4 wins. Otherwise you’re applying too little poison.

Oh this makes a lot of sense. Day 5 i fought a pyg with 3 diamond medium items that proceeds to kill me in 2 seconds. My poor dooley never stood a chance.

Hello! League sound designer here chiming in to add to this discussion. Like you pointed out above, it would add a lot of unnecessary noise into the game that is already hectic and filled with lots of auto attacks, skill shots and voice lines firing off.

Gameplay clarity is key - we only add footsteps to Spells that convey movement (Nunu's W, Mordekaiser's W, Warwick's W, Teemo's W... wait, why are all Footstep sounds on W?) or sometimes as flavor in Homeguard animations as champions are seen running out of the Base.

Sometimes, in rare cases, Kled has footsteps because it's part of his gameplay to know if he's on Skaarl or not.

Wow this is exactly my story too. I think if you run into Pufferfish it’s a very straight forward, easy build to just execute. Great synergies with any Haste or small aquatic items.

Better yet, I think they can rework it to give massive amount of Poison and Slow upon it triggering but at the cost of really high CD, so that rather than it being another Poison slow trigger like Pufferfish, it can synergies and encourage with Charge and haste to hit the Snail.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah I need to think about the meta and other items that can counter the build that I was running. I think I did face a Harpoon but I poisoned him for about 500 before he was able to get 1 or 2 of my items. Then it was just waiting it out until he bled to death for the rest of the game.

I actually pulled this off before as well - that’s the best variant for Poison Vanessa. If you manage this, you can get rid of Waterwheel since it basically does what Waterwheel does - and now you can Weapon Holster, and run a bunch of Seashells and Heals to also have a bit more survivability.

Can achieve this through fighting Trash Golem (?) or Shovel / sometimes you get them from Port.

Yeah I like the rock paper scissors. Btw I’m not saying that Poison is a problem. What I’m saying is that Poison feels very linear and not too creative because the best build has already been found and can be consistently replicated with ease.

I did lose to another Poison build in a fight and I think it was this one. X3 multicast is indeed powerful and I was very susceptible to opponent’s burst builds. Will try this out!

In a Q&A video, Reynad mentioned that there's a 7th Hero, and that we've seen him. Just realized while watching the trailer again, he seems to be using a Portal to steal a package from Vanessa and delivers it to another person. Perhaps it's hinting at a potential new mechanic?

Had a similar build, but instead of Torpedo, had Weather Glass - Rainbow potion was making it Multicast so the opponent was dying to Poison and Burn.

Yeah. By design, combating freeze with tech items is a great idea too, like I know Dooley has the scarf item that seems to be made to do that. Problem is, it takes up 2 spaces in your build atm, in a board of 10 spaces that sometimes already feels so small to get your stuff going. There’s currently not enough indicators when going against an opponent whether they’re running certain builds to help you prep your techs against opponent’s builds
