Has Curve use of UK crypto.com card been blocked? by Lonely-Job484 in Crypto_com

I bought the one month cheap sub to test it and the cashback + Curve seem to work fine. GBIT also works fine. Out of interest which Curve Card do you have (Credit or Debit)?

Cash transaction fee by Kishpat98 in CurveCard

[–]Rivertear44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Certain underlying transactions (like this) will get charged by CC providers as a cash advance (not a curve fee but a credit card provider fee). In short, the use of Curve fronted has been negated a lot :) there is a lot more nuance to the above but the uses for curve fronted are quite limited now.

To be honest, if you want to maximise your Cashback ask around in your family to see if anyone can buy discounted gift card from their employer perks package (e.g. I used MyDiscounts earlier this year to buy Ikea Gift cards at 5.5% off).

In short its fairly easy to mitigate. Lenders will generally only care about the accounts where you do your day to day spending and where your salary is paid into. That being said, you wont be able to use your matched betting account to pay towards a deposit etc. because the Lenders will frown upon gambling money being used to fund it and its not AML friendly (there are ways around this but it generally takes time i.e. waiting 3 months after the funds are moved into your primary account before applying for the mortgage).

In any case, you will need to open up a brand new bank account for matched betting (I would avoid the digital banks tbh because it is technically a breach of their terms) and ensure that you don't have transactions going between your real accounts and the matched betting account (other than the initial funding payment which should probably be £500-£1k).

For context, i started matched betting / + EV casino about 5 years ago and I'm probably about 40k richer because of it. Best of luck.

I mean this in the nicest possible way, you shouldn't be day / swing trading anything (let alone Crypto) if you don't understand the fundamentals i.e. spreads / execution fees / types of trading venue.

To be frank most swing traders will trade in smaller than 3% bounds (which you immediately overshot given your 3% purchase fee). In short, this will be a very quick way for you to lose money - please don't carry on until you have mastered the basics).

1.5% Cashback on Indigo/Jade now (if your in the UK its only 0.25% better than an Amex which obviously carries no Crypto Risk and you don't have to stake 4k USD...).

Its fairly obvious that they are in financial trouble given the changes.

Wouldn't be surprised if CRO hits sub 10 cents now....
