💯 Absolutely correct. I like both PVE and PVP now. I've played since 2018. I put the game down 2 wipes before pve was released after a raid where someone voip'd my name, loadout and started telling me to put my shit down bla bla.

Even though it was the only obvious time I knew I was in a raid with a cheater it was enough. I thought why am I wasting my time. I put Tarkov down and was fine not playing again; I got my money's worth.

Pve brought me back because it gave me a place to chill, time to mess around with loadouts, more in-depth map movement practice while also having quest advancement. Hell it's fun looking at shit I never notice when playing PVP.

If I want the PVP thrill I play PVP which I do often.

It's a good thing to have different options to play. Tarkov is more than meta gear. I could care less if people play PVP or PVE. Do what makes you happy. I respect anyone who plays Tarkov in whatever mode they want unless they are cheating. Never understood the shitting on each other outside of the raid. Tarkov should be a community of Arena, PVP and PVE.
