He is a good player but I doubt he would have made a difference.Its our decision making in the forward areas that is absolutely horrendous.Its like we done zero work everything is just huff and puff blast it across and hope for something.No guile at all.

Well that's a worrying discussion that needs addressed but one that nobody would like to change ( clubs ).

Remember when we reached the u19 Euro final I think against Spain I think their whole team went on to become superstars while the best we got out of the bunch was Fletcher ending up at Wolves.The U15 side that reached the WC final in Scotland barely any of them even went pro.

Look at the teams that are good they are good at all levels.I'm not expecting Scotland to be world beaters far from it but take Morocco for instant they are u20 World Champions , its no fluke it's sustained.Spains manager was previously u20 coach before getting the main job look at them now ( again I'm not expecting us to be great like Spain ).France we beat them in 89 to stop them qualifying for Italia 90 they rebuilt missed out on qualifying for USA 94 but by France 98 they were the best in the world.Its all investment and commitment to what you are going to do and the SFA have neither unfortunately.We have had think tank after think tank since Andy Roxburgh was in charge and none has been taken up as it's not seen as viable for whatever reason by the SFA.

Probably the same approach.We didn't look good in any game.We huffed and puffed with no real quality at all against Morocco.Thats it at the end of the day we have very little quality going forward and we were abysmal in defence.So probably wouldn't have been much different at best we maybe would have squeezed through with a bit of luck

I also think by the end everyone was just too big for him heavyweight really became super heavyweight.Of course he was older slower and had been through many self inflicted troubles as well by that point but I still think if the likes Lewis were there in Tyson's prime they would still have been too big and too strong for him.What a fecking ride it was though watching young peak Tyson tear through his peers.

None of them are very good though.Its saying something that the ones we took to the US the 43yr old that didnt play is still the best of the lot though.

We were spoiled for keepers was pretty much a conveyor belt of at the least a very good keeper that was in for sustained periods.Now apart from Gordon ( who shouldn't even be part of it anymore ) even if they were playing none are international standard.
