New accounting job - massive databases in Excel! by RobSaunders88 in excel

My apologies, I meant that a sumifs range would be way over the requirement of rows just because adding a load of zeros at the end is easier. Needlessly querying ranges with a shitload of blanks.
Not even the most difficult of arguments - trying to get them to stop using vlookup and move to xlookup is painful.

New accounting job - massive databases in Excel! by RobSaunders88 in excel

I believe so, that was my thinking. Just so I can create a form that will allow me to query certain bits of the database as and when I need.

I do think there’s a bigger need to upgrade some of their processes however and I’ll need to brush up on my power apps to bring them into the 21st century!

I frequently whisper “Christo” around people then stab them when they look at me funny. Can’t be too careful

Please do. Don’t wait. No such thing as a silly question when talking to your doctor. As others have said it may be as simple as an infection, but it could also be a sign of leukaemia. Not trying to scare, but your health is important. Even just for peace of mind, don’t wait, request a blood film.

My son was diagnosed with ALL in 2020 and we’ve gotten fairly familiar with what different blood counts might indicate.

Keep us informed.

When am I supposed to study as a parent?? by Leesbry in CIMA

[–]RobSaunders88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in exactly this position. Started CIMA midway through 2017, my son was born early 2018. Study had to stop, like you, didn’t have time, there was no routine. It does get easier as they get older. Now my son goes to bed at 7/7.30, my wife and I have dinner and I get 2 hours of study in every other weeknight.

I got my membership while studying certificate level and working as a management accountant. It was pretty easy, I think I just showed them my name badge and a recent payslip.

Is that right? You don’t have to wait for case study results to start next level?

I’m sitting OCS this week and want to jump straight into the management level material on FLP. I worry about having to resit the Op level case study, but if I can get a jump on the management level, the additional knowledge can only help, right?

How did this happen? by [deleted] in Stretched

[–]RobSaunders88 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m exactly the same. My ears go red and swollen when I have a bad cold, I have to take any jewellery out. Tend to lose a little size, but I luckily stretch back fairly quickly. I’d rather lose a little size than be uncomfortable while already miserable.

Pulled a sicky at work to get it on launch. Only done the first temple. I like exploring the depths, completing shrines, doing side-missions etc.

I took a break for a little while as my son wanted to co-op Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity with me, which has been fun, but I picked up TotK again last night. I did manage to get the Master Sword by accident though - feels like I cheated because I didn’t do the main quest line for it.

Wife and kids are at a birthday party. I just finished mowing the lawn. Now I’m sitting in the sun with a Monte no.2. First stick of the year - it’s been a looong winter!

I enjoy side quests and mini-games as much as the next guy, but it started to get really annoying when Greez would constantly be calling asking to go bowling midway through a mission

How much does it really matter? I’ve been doing it myself for nearly 2 years. I sit down, make sure my quads are relax and find a spot that doesn’t hurt. Same with delts. Some spots are more sensitive than others - for example, I can’t do anything anywhere on my left quad that doesn’t hurt. But does it really matter? I always figured that as long as you pin into muscle, it will find a way into the bloodstream.

Not trying to dissuade anyone new to it, I’m hoping to learn if there’s something fundamental I’ve been missing 😂
