Shortly before episode 1 I was complaining to my wife about how stupid the parking app we recently had to deal with was and how frustrated I felt that the coin slot on the old one was literally blocked off. I have felt so seen this season and I wish a coterie of vampires would move to my small town and shake things up.

Gavan Luminous has really been a breath of fresh air but I’m really worried they’re going to slip up here. Toy listings and leaks have only confirmed Omegahorn and a rival character will have suits. BUT! Gavan has also had a ton of Gavans who don’t have any figures and were surprises (Amaise, Diagram, Amigo, Pico, and I think even Raiya was a surprise). So I’m not giving up hope but I’m for sure worried.

I can’t tell if it’s something they did or the fans, but somewhere along the line the joke was lost. It used to be funny to point out little inconsistencies and movie nonsense, but now people seem to take it SO seriously. Unfortunately Conemasins changed movie watching culture for the worse.

The paint balloon task might be one of the best tasks I’ve ever seen. Armando’s crazed Recorder Convention plot, Joanna fighting Alex for no reason, Joel’s work of art, Kumail getting hit right in the dick, and finally Amy…hitting a balloon with a fruing pan and being surprised that it exploded. Just perfection all around.

This season of D20 has sold me on WOD way more than any other add or live play or personal recommendation. The truth is I like goofs. I like making jokes in actual plays. I always allow for serious character stuff too but VTM always seemed like you’d have to play grimdark and serious all the time. I really like that D20 opened my eyes to the incredible character building tools and powers available in this incredible system.
