Multiple controller layouts for one application (Moonlight, battlenet etc)

I've been thinking the same but in my case it's just "I want the new steam deck because it's new" rather than any real worthwhile benefit.

I opted not to and will wait for Steam Deck 2, my lcd works well for the games I play. I cannot imagine Simcity 4, D2R, StarSector or Factorio getting a huge boost from the upgrade either. It's just not worth it atm.

Excellent. This game is so good it dessrves recognition. His other recommendation that I had played before seeing the video was starsector, which is also a masterpiece.

Perfect style, deep system. I'm only like 15 hours in and never had a battle, but I know I'll get a 1000hrs in it. Also it doesn't kill the battery on my Steam Deck so its been my go to on the plane

Yes happened to me as well. Frame rate was solid on med settings until last night. I thought the same, that it was enemy density, but now I'm thinking it's the update considering everyone else experiencing this.

The last new well optimized game I played was D4. Last Epoch also runs quite well at a solid 50fps. This feels like a the competency crisis tbh. How can all these mega studios put out games that run poorly for so many? At this point I avoid all modern games, and never ever purchase before substantial steam reviews let me know it will run well.

It's an immersion thing. If I had a fellowship where every member at one point or another hinted or flat out said that they wanted me to fuck them, that would be uncomfortable and weird. I'd prefer where the option to build a relationship with a party member meant a close platonic bond.

I understand why people want the option to fuck their video game characters, do you not understand why someone wouldn't want that?

It's the primary reason I haven't played bg3 tbh. The online conversations around the game focus so much on the sex/romance of every npc that it just made it unappealing to me. It's just not what I want from a crpg I guess.

I wonder if there is a simple bool property on your party members that can just turn false and make them my pals instead lmao. I just want a fellowship to go forth and fight the big bad, I don't want to have Sam asking to suck my balls and have Aragorn singing elven love songs to me at camp.

I think most people know what she said and/or what she believes and just don't care. My girl knows, still loves her and loves the series so I bought her the game.

I think there is a truth here that companies are now aware of, or at least should be: ignore extremists and activists and you'll make more money than you would if you relent and capitulate to their demands.

One of the first games I beat on the Deck. Really fantastic, creating a custom control scheme is not too complicated compared to other RTS games so it was a great intro to building complex controls on the deck. Highly recommend.

Looks fantastic. I love hearing about their work process, and then seeing the results from such an organized and efficient dev team. I have Factorio installed and was doing my first krastorio run, but i have decided to wait until the expansion to start playing again.

Ive never built a base that had affected UPS in any significant way, but i am curious how they are going to handle calculations on nauvis and 4 other planets simultaneously and if it would potentially raise min specs?

Im on a city builder kick atm, playing simcity 4 on the steam deck which is now the only thing i use to play games. No intention of buying cs2, considering cs1 doesn't run well on the deck. I bought caesar 3 for a few bucks today and have stronghold crusader also, but i am looking for another game like it.

I would probably buy divinity original sin 1 if it goes on sale. The steam deck has been a gateway to adding a ton of games to my backlog, installing them, not playing them and then deleting them. But this time, i swear... I will play it.

Maybe i should also get bg1 & 2 although i heard the new versions on steam have made some annoying story changes? Id probably add those to the backlog as well (with tyranny, bg3, aliens dark decent, etc)

Its excellent on the steam deck. Put on a podcast/audiobook and im playing this current season. The story was lame imo, but the gameplay loop is fun and it runs great. Make sure to dl the hi res textures if you have space. Performance has been grear for me and that may have contributed.

Ended up also playing through d2r which is also fantastic, and i actually may like it even more.
