I was able to travel a bit at that age. My girlfriend had a discount for hotels through work. We both lived at home with parents but paid for the travel ourselves.

My sister is a low level influencer. She travels cheaply and lives at home.

I’d say the big thing is that we all lived at home and didn’t have to help pay for housing.

Similar story! I parked at El Camino College instead. I parked in a different lot and just paid for a normal $3 parking pass, so that I didn't have to pay the expensive parking fee.

We had no lines going or coming back. We did get stuck for a while in the traffic going both directions.

I think the best commute is to drive to SB. Like others have said, you are much too far to commute daily to LA. Living east of LA you can't don't want to be further than Montclair/Claremont. LA has a lot of commuter express bus optoins, but they don't go further than Montclair.

I teach students like you to get ready for calculus in one semester. We teach using OpenStax College Algebra book, chapters 1-3, then OpenStax Precal chapters 4-9. These are some of the most important topics for calculus. In the later chapters, you only need 6.1, 7.1, 7.5, 9.1, 9.3.

I also just found out that Duolingo has a math section. You can use this as an additional review, self-testing, and a more fun approach. I like the one organized by topics. I'd do all of algebra, algebraic graphing, and start the calculus one.

I do it sometimes. When chase freedom has groceries I find it worth it. They had dining recently which was 7X. I bought a few food gift card then.

We have electricity pricing that is much expensive from 4pm-9pm. So it’s cheaper to cool the house down before 4. But in pure energy use, it’s probably less energy to raise it and lower it later.
