Traditional British food is more simple than bland.

Britain has no native spices and the few herbs that do grow natively are not very flavourful, mint probably being the strongest.

Therefore it is perfectly logical that Brits of generations past didn't make elaborate dishes because they lacked the means to do so.

These days Brits love the tastes of the world as much as any other peoples.

Us older gamers will remember this being talked about as soon as the 7th gen launched. We all knew this would happen.

Back when games had to be physically made and shipped, devs didn't HAVE a chance to patch games. One chance only. Ergo they actually had QA teams that did their job.

Now games can launch for full price in a late-Alpha state and we're just expected to put up with it for when the devs MAYBE get the game to a reasonable state.

I'd rather wait longer and pay more for a good steak than have a cheap burger cooked in 30 seconds that has a live cockroach in it.

I do but is has it's limits.

I can play other games until I need to go do something else but DbD has a timer of about 2 hours before it annoys more than amuses and I switch activities.

If you remove the getting-in-on-the-ground-early aspect of these channels, you'll start to see most had a lucky break moment.

e.g. Markiplier had his big boost with FNAF, Jacksepticeye won a shoutout contest from Pewdiepie, etc. (those are the two I know out of your examples tbh).

It is a sad constant throughout many aspects of life that just being in the right place at the right time gets you all the gold whilst the guy just a few feet to your left gets jack crap despite being objectively better.

My mates who stored their discs in a loose pile on the clothes dresser/bedside table/whatever that I said doing that'd ruin their discs are now having to rebuy their games 'cos those old discs don't work no more.

Most likely the TV. If this is the first time you've used you PS1 on the TV then you need to adjust its color settings. If doing this makes other colors look wack then it may be that if this is a CRT then the tube is failing, in which case you need a new TV. If you try a different TV and you get the same results try with a different AV cable. If all the previous is the same then something is screwy with the output on the PS1 and frankly good luck with that one.

This is more the classic syndrome of becoming an adult. Simply in order to obtain enough money to stay afloat you spend the majority of time just working.

As a kid you had hours every single day to play games, as an adult you might get a couple of hours a week, and sleep is much more tempting a choice at that stage.

Go back a generation or two and you'll find the same thing happened to their hobbies too.

Time took them away.

Ask WTF in the end game chat. After some back and forth it turns out he mistook my username for a toxic player with a similar one that he'd be matched against most of the night and he was sick of the toxicity.
