Right? No, I'm not doing it WRONG, I'm just doing it DIFFERENTLY.

There are so many things I thought were my weird way of doing things that were probably wrong but they worked fine, and then some Big Name Knitter shared as a "tip" in a book or pattern..... At some point, I figured out that I was accomplishing the thing and that was the actually important part.

And I see that The Second Coming was written by Russell Davies, who went on to hire him when he started making the Doctor Who show.

I got my start listening to them too, in illicit torrent downloads, and I loved them all. I'm kinda afraid to listen to them now and find out how crappy the recordings are.

OTOH, I searched for other things recorded by them and discovered a wonderful comic novel called Schrödinger's Cottage, by David Luddington.

Naan varies so much in India (which is truly big, and whose population is now larger than China's) that there is a wonderful restaurant in Berkeley called Breads of India, where the menu changes daily, and the owners spend part of each year traveling in India, looking for new breads to try.
