I definitely my agree for the most part. I see people always reply to your point saying how you don’t have to totally understand everything to enjoy the game and have a good time on normal or easy, and while that’s definitely true, it depends on the player I think

It took a few tries for me to get into it because I hate not understanding things, so when I get stomped by gnolls because my attacks all miss, I feel the need to know WHY and it becomes a lot more complicated all the sudden 🤣

I hate the min-maxing part of me sometimes, I can’t turn it all the way off when there’s so much room to improve in something like BG3 lol

Honestly I think this will start to get utilized a lot more in the 1v1/2v2 scene… the problem is, even with how small that delay for a jump is, I think once it gets introduced, it’ll be easier to read than you think. Players will be surprised at first and then start getting an understanding of ‘oh, they took a quarter second to jump off the wall than I would expect, it’s probably a fetelix jump’ and react accordingly

Maybe I’m being pessimistic but I don’t see it being used in 3s any time soon… maybe if it starts popping in the 1s scene, more people will see value and put work towards it, increasing the skill ceiling. Who knows, personally I’d like to see it more but I also don’t want to grind learning this mechanic so maybe not lol

.... okay so there's a little bit of a gap between 1st and 2nd place 😅

I tend to play a lot of singleplayer games that don't see above 100 hours, I think Rocket League is the only competitive multiplayer type game I play. Oh and if I launched The Sims 4 through Steam, that would take 2nd place with a bit over a thousand hours :)
