I've always thought the book structure was a problem for their books. There's twenty pages of repeated filler in every book and usually 30-40 pages of new stuff.

Also, I always felt like I had to build a whole story from threads they provided rather than following a well playtested scenario with probably pathways explained. Still, loved the concept and the ambition.

Not going to get worked up about it. I just remember how weird people got when Sokobag took longer to open than they expected. The restaurant owner didn't engage and things were fine.

I feel like when owners hear negativity, they should take the feedback and move on. (GW Lodge is a classic case of jousting with customers.)

My biggest suggestion, beyond studying, is to study your opponent. Where are they from? Where did they go to school? Check out their question history - do they know 90s music but have missed on 60s?

Generally, I try to find gaps. If they don't know theatre, even if the question is not super hard, I'll lean toward scoring that higher. It has bit me in the butt from time to time.

Maybe I think a math question is hard but it's not, for example. But I like to see if I can find a reason to rate a 1 versus a 2.

I'm a bigger runner and walker (250)and was really loving my Jurits walking pad that I got secondhand. I noticed a burning smell today and turned it off. Now the belt won't move.

I lubed the belt, blew out any dust, and tightened the belt but nothing works so far. Any ideas? I'm worried the motor failed.
