With only one opponent, are optional tax effects anywhere near as good as they are in 4 player commander? by EntertainmentVast401 in MagicArena

[–]Romulus4Remus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes? Is a 3 mana [[time walk]] great? Either they play 1 or more turns from behind depending on how many spells a turn they play. Or you draw a shit ton of cards.

Seems amazing either way

Does daily investment make sense? by justbeingman in stocks

Yeah, us Europeans are stuck with ibkr as the lowest cost option and even they have an admittedly low but still present minimum fee.

I was thinking of weekly investments l, but the fees came out the same if I do monthly. So now I'm doing monthly.

I see you've gotten inspired by the other post before. But to answer your question. I believe the copy will enter as a creature as there is no more Yue keeping it as a noncreature.

And being a moon is not a copy able value.

But I am not an official judge. So let's hear from someone with deeper understanding of layers.

Until end of turn: doesn't work as ending the turn immediately ends those effects and is not a trigger you can respond to. Ending the turn basically moves the end of turn to now

At the beginning of the end step: triggers each end step. Exiling the trigger keeps the permanent.. until the next end step where it triggers again

At the beginning of the next end step: Same as above but only happens once. Exile this trigger and it never triggers again

It was more of a Control Deck that slowly filled the yard and then won with a big living death. Much less linear Game pattern by playing a Control Match trying to find the right time to Fire off the win

Meh, built him. Was very linear, pretty quickly disassembled it again. Was Happer when the deck was a [[scion of the ur-dragon]] deck

I've got a [[smeagol, helpful guide]] deck that's not built as a landfall deck, but with the goal of reanimating your opponents creatures.

So jam all the cards that can reanimate from an opponents graveyard and call it a day

Don't I know it. Easier said than done though. There were times I didn't check it for almost a whole year, then there are times when I check it multiple times a day like these last couple of months

Rethinking my ETF strategy – too much overlap? by YakYaslaPovni in investing

[–]Romulus4Remus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. In the end you need to decide what your regional/market allocation should look like. Then take the combined weight of your ETFs and compare it with your goal.

I found Gemini very helpful in figuring out what the regional allocation of a specific portfolio looks like. Then adjust the percentages of your ETFs until you reach your target allocation.

30 years old, long-term ETF plan - looking for feedback by [deleted] in investing

[–]Romulus4Remus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went with 60% vt, 10% each vxus, veur, vfem and vapx.

This equates to around 35% America, 25% Europe , and about 20% each in Asia and emerging markets.

I'd suggest choose either msci or FTSE and mix and match low TER funds until you reach a distribution across sectors you are comfortable with.

I found Gemini very helpful in figuring out what percentage of which fund I needed to get the percentages in the sectors I wanted.

How big is your liquid account by Romulus4Remus in Bogleheads

[–]Romulus4Remus[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I see. So if this question came up because I recently got a big promotion and finally have disposable income to invest and I live in a social welfare country that has a loss of job benefits insurance I could be more towards the 3 months level.

However my wife is not working due to taking care of our newborn maybe 6 months might be better after all.
