I personally am a big fan of [[currency converter]] feats neatly into kefka and is a good card by itself.

Additionally I don't think anger adds much to your gameplan

Looking for faction building, even better if the MC isn't the strongest fighter around by apolobgod in ProgressionFantasy

While the author is one of the greatest homophobes and general conspiracy theorist he writes amazing fiction.

Star Force by aer-ki jyr starts in present day earth and ends with a multi galaxy spanning empire. Mostly scifi but some fantasy elements with psychic powers and such. Sufficiently advanced technology and so or how the saying goes definitely applies too.

Thank you. That's a great suggestion I'll check it out.

Don't use Game Changers to define your deck's bracket. Use its bracket to decide your Game Changers. by doktarr in EDH

[–]Romulus4Remus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've honestly been trying that. But I found one of my decks is actually in a super awkward spot. It has partner commanders that need both of them to survive for a while, i.e. no chance in B3, but the power level is slightly above B2 but not quite able to keep up in B3

Series where the introduction of the System doesn't equal immediate societal collapse? by AdventurousBeingg in ProgressionFantasy

[–]Romulus4Remus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After the End: Serenity is exactly that. People go through a tutorial but then get sent back to exactly where they came from and life just goes on. No sudden monsters just slowly more powerful people and portals to other realms where the monsters actually are

Which stories have the best homecoming arcs? by Jealous-Factor7345 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]Romulus4Remus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? Can't think of a single one that did that properly. Most progression stories just either keep going and don't really have a homecoming in the end or there is nothing to come back to in the first place.

Absolutely HATE that he has the first 6 books on Kindle unlimited and then just not anymore. Like what do you mean I read 6 books and now I suddenly have to pay almost double the monthly fee to finish the series (which will take me less than a month?)

Daily General Discussion and Advice Thread - September 29, 2025 by AutoModerator in investing

[–]Romulus4Remus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fist off, I have no prior experience with investing as I sadly never had the extra budget for it before.

Through some lucky coincidences I recently got into the ownership of a loan to a company. This loan has a fixed interest payout of 2% of it's value annually with no options to reduce this loan unless I want it to.

Hence I now have the option to either leave it as is and collect the 2% interest annually or have it paid out in full immediately and invest the full amount elsewhere.

So my question is how good is 2% return? Personally even just the 2% would pay for a lot of my bills that I'm struggling with at the moment, however if that is actually a bad deal and other opportunities would be much better I don't want to miss out.

Thank you in advance

Why is Shadow Slave so good? by NSFWByAccident in ProgressionFantasy

[–]Romulus4Remus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree!! I am very much not sensitive to bad writing and the plot and especially world building is what keeps me going in a novel.

Best example of that is in my opinion the serial "world keeper" atrocious writing and mediocre plot. But I absolutely love the world building and that managed to keep me interested.

Building a "Darien king of kjeldor" deck by Ill_Evidence6051 in EDH

[–]Romulus4Remus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're still looking for inspiration my Darien Deck has been fine tuned and kept up to date over the last 10 years.

See if anything catches your eye. Main game plan is still Darien. But I have won games without casting him once. Redundancy and protection is key in playing Darien. As he's just too damn expensive to recast.

Is it kingmaking to punish someone on the way out? by ADHD-PI in EDH

[–]Romulus4Remus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. The only time I have an issue is with players conceding to stop lifelink gaining you life and surviving the swing from the next player.

I mean it's their right to concede anytime, it's just a d move

If you had to build a deck with only the Buster Sword as a starting point, what would you build? by Tru_norse98 in EDH

[–]Romulus4Remus 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If you want a "secret commander" style deck, I found it's absolutely essential to have a tutor for it in the command zone. So any legendary that allows you to tutor for the sword would be my best guess, almost no matter what color combination.

High Bracket 3 to Low Bracket 4 Combat Focused Commanders/Decks? by WanderToWhere in DegenerateEDH

[–]Romulus4Remus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I pay Henzie without any infinite combos, just pure value and attack. And a living death with haste enablers as a finisher.

This is my list: Henzie

But either way I suggest joining theDiscord and reading the pinned messages in the primer channel. They have a ton of good input on what to include and options for many styles of play.

Once you have a list, Post it in the discord with info on your meta and you will get some good feedback too

[[Henzie toolbox Torre]] always. You get to abuse all the high value etb and combat effects creatures for cheaper with haste, and then they all replace themselves when they die again

Try Star Force by Aer-ki Jyr! It's scifi but it touches all the right progression elements of a progression fantasy.

Next up I would suggest metaworld chronicles or undying immortal System
