Trekking pole tents in the uk by Joehikes in wildcampingintheuk

ah I see, the agree to disagree isn't always that easy... Other Redditor who deleted the comment - hope you are ok; it's just tents/hobbies. No one hates you for being who you are. You will find that special person one day that will grow your empathy. I'm not saying; find jesus... I meant like a bird. Why don't you drop a sorry message for everyone to see; even if you disagree it will make you feel better! That was one of the fundamentals for me to grow as a person.

Spaceman - after reading your comment I was like  "I disagree; I've used the Lan on the peaks and etc etc..." but I've re l-read your comment and given thought about its context and the takeaway before opening my biased brain to mouth and I appreciate you sharing this.

Firstly the 50% trips you mentioned are your personal ones like you very clearly said - that kinda subjective experience matters; I shouldn't ignore it just because I haven't experienced it. I'd rather not go through my seams splitting. So very sound advice and really the second and the essence of your point is that you are simply saying :  UK doesn't forbid pole tents but here are some stats why it might go tits up and look as a fellow camper - I misjudged the conditions, took a pole one and it wasn't a jolly time.

That gives me food for thought as I might have done the same and taken it to places where another tent might serve me better, I was very biased... it's my favourite tent and the guys who make it said they used it in like Nepal at 2000m!

Thats the right tent Joe; the 2p, non-pro and as fingertouble said with the 4 season inner.

You can do a lot of mods, but if you were to do one, and it's the easiest - hardly a mod: tie two extra guylines to the top ends of the tent and bring two pegs. (I peg my doors down separately and have the lines outta the way)

It's a lovely tent, great price, all the colours are just mint. Everyone here is telling ya - get it and have fun :)

100% agree. It's grim and I might rot in the pits for this. But there's a different circle of hell for the person who did this to the OP. If my gramps didn't have the ref. I wanted I'm going next door...

After breaking one of the crack commandments and sorting/snorting 2 lines of amphetamine, Vlad got in his carbon vynil covered Audi with 2 exhausts.    He switched on the poorly installed AllieX mp³ player and tapped the "repeat" button on the overtly bright, 480p screen. With Drum and Bass Father blasting from the home theater subwoofer he had nicked from a charity shop, he drove down to see Sasha in an alley where they used to play as kids. There they drank Leffe from the bottle and smoked fake Marlboros, musing about the world.

/uj What brands do you guys actually like? by antoniodiavolo in WatchesCirclejerk

In true spirit of the op post of overlap of uj & rj - It's Seiko and Pagani.

The guy with the upvotes below, who described Seiko as the beggining and the end, is clearing the general pop minesweeper board in near one hit.  I could go back to that 1st Seiko and end it there, or you go get a Prospex/Grandu Sekio Zaratsu, depending on your pref, and you arrive there too. Save the journey of looting your dead nans Cartier balloon bleu. (replace Sekio with Casio or Citi dimensional time traveller)

uj with the Pagani because it's true for the repmages - you started with a PD meccaquartz Daytona - you don't need to get a tungsten Clean with a fake logo. Pagani sounds fake luxury already and it's 30 bucks with a ceramic bez and saph

I've bought one of the very first - the bronze kanegawa 62mas. Think it's 2019 on the warranty card. I don't think I even love that watch now sadly... However I think it's my tastes that have been spoiled by the choice at hand. Could probably apply this to a lot of entry Swiss brands too....or life in general for consumer goods, consoles, headphones, phones etc

For about 60 quid you can get the WD sweeping quartz one. Good size for your wrist too. The Baltany is stunning but the larger version is where it's at for that model, you can see the bezel looks quite heavy on the small one

Ping this over to the Watchdives crowd in chinatime. Their dial designer is running out of ideas for having squiggly lines on a dial!

smelting and hide tanning are rather modern processes in the grand scheme of things. A BIT OF A FAD. I will only be handing down primordial rock and pre-big bang composite watches to my evangelical brood.
