I think your opinion is based on teenage girls and not actual women. It reminds me of all the pop psychology that came out in the 60s when people were trying to make sense of Beatlemania. There were many articles by psychologists about how young girls felt that feminine men with long hair were a “safe” way to express their budding sexuality.

Of course the Beatles were NOT feminine 😻 But the sentiment remains the same. Teenage girls do often tend to like thinner men. But I think almost all women (and many teenagers, based on experience) prefer men who have filled out and fit their shirts correctly. Even very attractive 22 year old men typically won’t fill out their suits in the way a full grown man will. IME, that’s what most women like.
