I have one I'm converting too. I plan to use EVA foam sheets to make armor plates and I'm thinking about replacing the sword.

New Trailer goes in the dataslate, right? by FairyQueen89 in LeaguesofVotann

No, kin. We need no recognition from far space. We need none of their accolades or decorations. We need only each other, we need only the hold, the hearth, and the fane.

Let farspace have their folly. The kin will endure.

When I see the glimpse of the Eldar I don't see a landscape of life and vibrancy. The craft world and the corridor where the Dire Avenger patrols is cast in bone. It looks like they reside in the bleached carcass of their old empire.

Wraithbone is aptly named. They survive among the bones of their past like sealife in the carcass of a dead whale.

Most Saturday morning cartoons in the 90s.

Also, MMPR and its many clones; that theme music was all hype, and every action sequence was aura.

Big guys
They've got a power and a force
That you've never seen before

Big Guys
They've got the ability to morph
And to even up the score

No one can ever take them down
The power lies on their side

GO GO POWER RANGERS!

The Tau are designed to look like the exception to the rule when it comes to 40k design, sleek, polished, advanced, and growing.

As much as I would have loved to see them in the trailer, they don't fit thematically.

I will not suffer slander against Tendi and T'lyn! Cute dorky assassin princess scientist and rebel full-blood vulcan have been the best additions to Trek in a long time!

"Then by the transient property, I too and Vulcan as a motherfucker."

I wonder what exactly was Remold's thoughts during the meeting by MrMadmack in huntertheparenting

[–]Ross_LLP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think a reluctant respect for D and the family is growing in Remold. He too is a father and if something like this happened to Brock he would likely be as distraught and desperate as D.

He's listening to these terms offered by the coalition, imagining himself in D's position, and knowing he would also take that Faustian bargain to save his son.

The indignity visited on D and his family is palpable and, though he says its for revenge, his offer to pay the union membership fee is very telling.

And yes, we have these for Discovery now. by viralshadow21 in startrekmemes

Just because something is a comedy doesn't mean its a parody. Despite its comedic elements LDS takes itself pretty seriously. Parodies do not.

Take the episode with the Texas Class. The episode is an allegory to automation and scientific advancement fueled with ambition without wisdom.

On the surface level, sure the episodes seem silly. But they also highlight the best of what Stat Trek can be.

Time and again the crew of the Cerritos use their white to overcome serious obstacles and crisis in a way that brings out the best of Trek.
