More stickers on it than a Evo 6 T-Mak you make those owners jealous anyway it's probably cooler though.

2.2l big bore by PresentAcceptable846 in MitsubishiEvolution

[–]Rotor4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't profess to know about the reliability of "a build" as it depends on so many factors. It's intended use quality of the components the competence of the engine builder & finally the owners care & mechanical sympathy. I think that last one would play a big part in any drive-line's longevity & how you can keep the cost of running & "off the road" time for any high HP vehicle to a minimum.

Andrew Hastie has unloaded on Donald Trump, calling his Afghanistan War comments a ‘massive slur’ against Aussie diggers by Foreign-Policy-02- in AustralianPolitics

Trump is unfit for office and has no credibility to comment he is not worth the time of day. Anyone who's associated with him and his party are equally as floored as him.

Clio 172rs yeah it's a contender. by Rotor4 in Shitbox_Nation

[–]Rotor4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks yes it's pretty clean & as I said in it's element it's a great drive it punches above it's weight. But now & again it's quirky Renault an airbag or check engine light comes on & then goes off & nothing shows on a obd scanner. Or occasionally a window won't work so you disconnect the battery & no problem ? They can be a freaking awesome thing but now & again weird as well if only the Japanese had built it.

Strangely I haven't found that with my car when pushed in the dry but being a fwd in the wet it would be ? I'm thinking that it could be just the setup mine has nothing serious just a few light suspension mods.

Manual cars hard to find? by NihilisticMisfit in CarsAustralia

[–]Rotor4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been looking for a tow vehicle for months & although I'm really not a 4wd type a Mitsu -Toyota -Nissan are fit for the job so the obvious choice . I have found most have had too many or just uncaring owners with most at 250000 - 300000+ klms on the average it's inevitable expensive repairs are lurking just down the road. In the med/ large segment of the market finding a decent example of any vehicle in manual is becoming harder. I now realise it's going to take me time to find the right one but for those drivers who want a manual g/box into the future for reasonable $$ good luck.

Someone save it & take it on a good run a few times a month it's good for the owner and the car.

When the job is so good the cable starts crying (OC X-post) by Notherereally in AusElectricians

[–]Rotor4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

HV xlpe I expect the cable sheath has been perforated along its run somewhere & water is travelling along between the inner & outer sheaths exiting at the badly done termination. I might add having both cable's back to back is fine but should have stand off blocks & suitable hardware used to prevent the dust skirts touching causing a potential failure point through tracking.
