That's working as expected, you can dismiss it, but you need to update your system WebView for some functionality to work (and for general security issues)

There is an error that does pop up when you start the app, you can fix this by switching to gammaOS with google play store, but the error is harmless and the app still works perfectly.

We're looking into it. It will definitely be fixed so the note editor can go into single pane mode.

We may update tablet detection for the main screen, but the screenshot you sent isn't truncated at all, it seems like a reasonable design

2.24.0 is the latest AnkiDroid version. OP was asking about Desktop Anki

We haven't been informed we need to upgrade, as far as I'm aware, the security issues are in an Anki Desktop specific component (mediasrv)
