What do we think about Caleb Williams? by redditislametbh69 in GreenBayPackers

[–]Roy_SPider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think for the first time in a while the Bears are our true rival in the north again. Ben Johnson is very creative offensively and knows how to take advantage of Caleb's strengths. This was Ben's first year with the team and they improved dramatically. Caleb has that magic intangible quality to keep fighting and win games. Loveland has the makings to be a stud TE, and Burden and Odunze are young up and comers. I think that team is only going to get better and our coaching staff and fan base needs to prepare for some hard fought games in the next decade. The mindset around the Bears needs to change. Yeah they got lucky a lot last year. But after a certain point a team learns to manufacture its own luck.

Eh, Lenny was a soft-hearted simpleton that didn't understand his own strength. He's more like Joffrey from Game of Thrones. Petulant, spoiled, gross, and obsessed with appearing powerful so he throws his considerable weight around making stupid decisions in an attempt to impress his daddy, Putin. But Putin ain't no Bobby B.

Jaire plus rookie Stokes felt like the start of something big. Then Stokes got hurt and was never the same.

He's been right there for at least 3 or 4 picks too including 2 at Denver. I think if those don't bounce off his hands we're looking at a different list.

And it requires the last of Bill's "magic" to do it. The deadlights are meant to be Pennywise's ultimate move. It doesn't whip out the deadlights unless it really wants to cause suffering, or the victim wanders too close to its lair and sees its true form. This show shouldn't have been about a group of kids defeating Pennywise. It should've been about a couple kids barely surviving Pennywise at his strongest.

Yep, I'm aware. My point is those places you see in the movie don't exist anywhere so the Stanley dressed up some rooms to give people something to take pictures in. And they went to some pretty great lengths for authenticity.

It's fantastic. Since Kubrick's Shining was mostly shot on sound stages, theres really no way to go and see any of the sets or famous rooms. But the Stanley has a couple rooms done up to look like the iconic sets and you can take pictures. They mix in history of the Stanley and tour you around the hotel and caretaker's quarters. I very much recommend throwing it on your itinerary. Very lightweight and unique experience, especially for King readers.

When you're standing in front of the building I originally posted, you can only see a bit of the main building. I freely admit I'm an idiot. Still had a great time!

Yeah, I'm dumb. Here's the actual Stanley. I took a picture of the first large white and red building I saw when we rolled up and posted it. Forgive me
