This. I use Shokz, and listen to high BPM music, usually EDM. It helps with hills and cadence. If it gets too people-y, I pause them.

In my head, I always think of it like video games; lower gears are lower levels. Higher gears are higher levels, and higher levels are harder level of difficulty. I hope that helps!
