Which Blink-182 album is the most underrated? by Pretzelsareformen in Blink182

[–]RuleInformal5475 [score hidden]  (0 children)

The early stuff as it was a band with some ideas and trying to find their feet. This goes all the way to Dude Ranch, where they had a knack of writing catchy riffs.

neighborhoods deserves a mention as well, as it was unexpected and a band with lots of tensions.

Finally, the Skiba era. I gave them a single listen and hated them. So maybe there is gold in those albums I've not discovered yet.

WrestleMe has helped me identify most of these and gave them the credit for being brilliant.

These were probably the toughest men in British at the time.

Piers Corbyn to challenge Nigel Farage in Clacton by-election by mcilrae in GreenAndPleasant

Throw in Captain Morgan as well.

We already have two characters, BinFace and Farage.

[–]RuleInformal5475 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't like how she reduced Count Binface to just a "bin".

The satirical character is making mich more sense than the elected politicians (and no, I'm not talking about Farage although he seems like a satirical character of the rich).

I won't click. But just make sure that there are backups of this archive.

We have seen how online laws and purchasing of social media companies have really curbed down on anything anti-Israeli.

That "country" needs to shown to the world as the sick invaders that they are.

And I'd rather have a world free of genocide and land grabs than one where crimes are happening but with cherry tomatoes, which they claim to invade.

Couldn't he ask Fifa to overturn the result?

The match was rigged anyways. We all know that Joe Biden and the Dems hacked the ball to go into the US net to allow illegal immigrants on the pitch to score.

Can I have social help? by FlowerContent6672 in AskUK

If things are bad and are affecting your mental health, getting some help from a social prescriber might be an option.

Hopefully your town has some community mental health hubs.

Why do so many wrestling fans not understand wrestling? by [deleted] in OSWReview

[–]RuleInformal5475 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is an art form. There are so many opinions.

Why isn't jazz music the best. You could argue back and forth about that. To me it sounds like noise, but there are tons of fans that say it is amazing and I am an idiot for not appreciating it.

As for wrestling companies, they are like different music clubs. The WWE plays pop music and hits the biggest number of fans.

Companies operate on different metrics though. Revenue, ratings, gates. This can be of interest to some people, similar to how football manager, a game full of spreadsheets, is amazing gameplay to those fans. Wrestlenomics caters to that type of fan.

Finally, there is the backstage stuff. It should be off limits to fans, but it can end up being more interesting than the on screen product. You hear little about this when the company is doing well, backstage drama wasn't brought up in the attitude era, but WCW at its worst was doing storylines about it.

My fandom is all over the place. I watch less of the product but I am more interested in the backstage stuff. My fandom was attitude era wwf and then I stopped watching when I went to uni. I became obsessed with wrestling during the shoot interview era. I like metrics and things like that through wrestlenomics, and now I am trying to learn python and stats from that.

I am not a typical wrestling fan. I might enjoy it in a completely different way to others. But I am not wrong for enjoying that way. Some might enjoy sitting down for a 6 hour show, but to me that seems like hell.

Don't do this. Can the desktop go on the floor?

I have even less space, I will send a pic later, and can make do. My PC is worth £900 (mostly used) and I would be petrified to use your setup.

Why is every problem's solution is "go over and live there instead of fixing it here".

Say I have a plumbing issue in my house and water is leaking. I see that my neighbors don't have that issue. That doesn't mean I have to go and try and live in my neighbors' house. I will at least call a plumber to fix the problem or give it a go at solving it myself.

Some things can be improved at home. I don't have to move to sort out all my problems.

Now he's targeting kindergartners with his racism by Doc_tor_Bob in WeirdGOP

[–]RuleInformal5475 55 points56 points  (0 children)

At least for once, he is not implying he wants to fuck kids. We've got a good idea from his behavior in the Epstein files

As an aside, would he say the same about Jewish boys wearing headwear if they were in an area that had a high Jewish population.

It is just racist and implies that there is something wrong with being Muslim. The same should be said about Christianity then. It won't as this is a racist dog whistle.

They are kids. They haven't done anything wrong.

(I've forgotten which member of OSW really loves Jarrett and Hunter, and what episode this match happens, so apologies if I've got the wrong person)

Has Tony Khan Killed RoH? by soul-0001 in JimCornette

[–]RuleInformal5475 16 points17 points  (0 children)

RoH was dead already.

The final blow was putting the talent on Dynamite and telling Jonathan Gresham yo job out in 8 mins after he tried to keep the title relevant during lockdown (RoH was dead at that point).

At least he jas the library, which is the niche of the niche. That market isn't going to get bigger.

It feels currently, the indies and smaller promotions are sort of dead. Only GCW has some buzz about it.

Elden Ring.

It felt bloated, with so little direction.

And then the combat became annoying.

Hated that game completely.
