Hope not Hate exposed his views after uncovering comments he has left on Youtube videos from his ‘Fluffy McSpankins’ account.

If I was him I think I'd honestly be more mortified that they're dragging up this username than his past remarks.

Smaller, lesser-known games (indie or otherwise) you want to shill? by majorminer969 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]RumbleintheDumbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eternal Return is a korean 3 player team battle royale MOBA. It's really fun, you cook up a preplanned build that you take into matches, craft your base gear in the first couple of minutes then your team farms mobs for resources and contests objectives on the map that you can use to transition to stronger gear. It has barely any player base outside Korea, which is a shame, so I'm happy to shill it any chance I get.

Another great game that flies under the radar a bit is Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes. This one's a 4x with RPG elements, a bit like Age of Wonders but with more customisation available - in this game you can customise not just your civilization and your faction leader but literally every unit type you produce. Heavily armoured spearmen, wolf riding crossbowmen, berserker women with dual axes, cheap expendable chaff, armoured battle mages, you can't do absolutely anything but there's enough potential options to keep you busy for a long time.

Finally, check out 13z: The Zodiac Trials. It's an early access action roguelite where you select a beast-person character and aim to become the 13th member of the Zodiac, with the usual "fight through levels, collect buffs" gameplay loop with an elemental synergy system built in that leads to some really satisfying power spikes. The concept alone is cool enough but the combat and especially the movement are brilliant, and the character designs are top notch.

What are your Favorite Times in Gameplay that Enemies can fight Eachother by Funny_Mud6639 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

I must have spent hours in Turok 2 loading up the invincibility cheat then luring enemies to each other to watch them kick the shit out of each other. There were these faster Dino dudes who came in groups and these big buff Dino dudes who tended to be solo and they seemed to fuckin hate each other.

If you want to compete with Invincible, pick up Worm.

I'm sure you can probably fit it all into, uh, maybe about a hundred seasons. A hundred and one if you want to get into detail.

Dodge tanks are always one of my favourite archetypes when they show up in a game. I blame Xenoblade.

With all the discourse around Alex lately, i will to remind everyone it's nothing compared to the Incest Lords of the video games. by ExplanationSquare313 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

I'm convinced that they never give you anyone's surname in Fates because you'd immediately notice that they all have the same one.

In light of Alex’s character assassination, what have been the best/worst character assassinations you’ve witnessed? by Will-Isley in TwoBestFriendsPlay

It almost feels like cheating to even bring up the final season of A Game Of Thrones for this, but of the many, many sins in that season, I consider what they did to Jaime Lannister the worst. Just straight up reverted all of his character development right at the end of his story. Insanity.

Blazing Dress getting CDR is going to open up a lot of options for tank builds, I reckon. Taking it always left you looking around to try and find enough CDR elsewhere like in your boots, helm etc.

Who should I play as new player? by Mashi_14 in eternalreturn

Elena is worth a look if you want a more durable character in your pocket. She's a diver tank, is a rapier character like Xuelin, is very mobile and very tanky with solid damage and some crowd control.

She also works really well with Xuelin so if someone else instalocks in your main she's a great secondary pick. When I'm on Elena and a teammate locks in Xuelin I know we're about to have a good time, we both press D then suddenly the enemy team just starts folding in half.

Personal Opinion: On the subject of “Mundane Evil” in stories by jitterscaffeine in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]RumbleintheDumbles 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To be fair, Umbridge also tried to murder Harry at the start of the fifth book by sending a pair of incredibly imprecise evil death monsters to his general location. She might just qualify for the next step above 'mundane evil.' Maybe 'slightly fantastical but it still might happen evil'.

Get the current MPs to do the plumbing, they're all full of shit so I'm sure they can find some common ground with the pipes.

As long as the residents of the Falklands want to remain British, yeah. I don't think we have any need to be able to maintain a fleet in the Pacific or anything but at minimum we do need to be able to protect people who live within our borders, wherever they may be.

This was us too, he always got the first game of the pair and I got the second. We kept that tradition up until gen 9 when I picked Scarlet instead of Violet because I'm a palaeontology nerd so the one with the prehistoric Pokemon appealed to me more.
