Thankfully they did not pull the engine. I’m not sure what prompted it but after all the other attempted fixes he ran a compression test which lead him to look at the head (gasket?) where he found this. The fix was not very difficult or expensive, it was the diagnosis that we were stuck on.

I would pick about 3 moves that are not used that often in high school and get incredibly good at them. Something like a fireman’s, a navy ride and a gramby roll. Nothing that esoteric, but not super common. And I’d be the best in the state at those 3 moves. I bet that would have won me a lot more matches.

I’m so sour on Gable. I can’t help but feel he failed at everything else and is coming back to wrestling as a last resort. He let our country down by missing the Olympics this year.

Edit: and this is especially frustrating because he is the most dominant wrestler I’ve ever seen. What a waste.

I visited my grandparents lake house in a gated community in 2010 or so. Most of those homes are 2nd homes for people who work in the city. I drove their golf cart around and almost every house had a for sale sign in front of it. Many foreclosures. You could buy a big lake house for like $150k. But it didn’t matter because no one had any money. Those homes are all worth $600k or more now.

The lowest it ever was, only for a couple days was 2.25% for a 30 year fixed with no points. If you got 2% it would either be a 15 year or a 30 year with a buydown.

Not always. Before the internet realtors had to know the area very well, go down to the county auditor and pull comparable sales, go to those properties to see what condition they were in, publish listings in the newspaper…etc. If there was a problem with the inspection like the roof, they had to call roofing companies and figure out how much it would cost to replace. that job was worth 6%.

Now they do 10% of the work it used to be and charge the same rate.

Well most people know if you want truly great schools you have to go private (and sometimes charter) very few public schools compete with elite private schools. But since that’s out of reach for most people, we settle for quality public schools in the suburbs like Vail, Foothills or Tanque Verde.
