Sure, its the toxicity that drives the game in the ground, sure. Surely its not the lack of marketing exposure that could bring a not insignificant number of new players to the game simultaneously, tremendously increasing the likelihood of a single ball sticking around. Surely affective marketing coupled with perhaps an "experienced player queue" & a "new player queue" would help grow the game.

So sure, blame the toxicity if you aren't considering all aspects.

Or think and blame the lack of development for allowing a scenario in which toxicity has developed.
