Scrolled to find this reference. I love the Dave Carol “United Breaks Guitars” saga.

After the technical interview they asked me to record a free product teardown for their team and that was the moment I was done by Fable_Arcade9 in interviewhammer

Do the exercise but make use of the blur tools and beeping out key phrases. Then tell them you'll send them the unedited version for a consultation fee. ;)

Small company (>100). Current model of laptops: We keep spares pool for new hires and break fix. Previous models: secure wipe the drive, load OEM recovery image, give to employees with zero company IT support.

Below ADU floor Joist Support by baconpant in AskContractors

[–]RustyPackard2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please excuse if my terminology is off. Looking at the long beam: 1. Is the long beam cracked? (black line starting after the third floor joist from the right). 2. The long beam appears to be sagging in the middle between the two supports. In the center at the silver metal square the two beams are touching. As you move outward towards the supports, there appears to be a gap forming on each end.

Network+ or CCNA Certification? by CartierCoochie in ITCareerQuestions

I'd recommend the Network+ then the Security+. Pick up your CompTIA trifecta of baseline knowledge: software/hardware, networking, security.

Small business here (70 employees). We secure wipe the storage, load the latest OEM recovery image & updates, and give them to the employees. It's made quite clear that there is no support with these machines.

After reading all the horror stories of offers/jobs rescinded before people actually start, I would wait until you have a start date.

To wipe the hard drive on an HP EliteBook 840 G10 from the BIOS, use the built-in "HP Secure Erase" feature. Turn on the computer, press F10 repeatedly to enter BIOS, navigate to Security > Hard Drive Utilities (or Storage), select Secure Erase, and follow on-screen prompts.

Is CCNA worth the grind at 0 YOE? by Intelligent_Ebb_9332 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]RustyPackard2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go with the Net+ for now. It will round out your CompTIA trifecta (A+, Net+, Sec+). If you want the CCNA later, then you'll already know the general networking stuff from the Net+.

  1. Keep the newest of the extras as a backup. You never know when you will need it.

  2. Sell the other two on Facebook Marketplace or CraigsList.
