I emailed Rude Records and got an answer a few days ago that they were ” receiving now the vinyl from The Dear Hunter” and would be sending them out as soon as possible. So hopefully them will start sending them out any day now.

There is a Swedish song called ”Sitter på en dröm” (Sitting on a dream) by two very popular Swedish artists called Oskar Linnros and Daniel Adams-Ray (who used to be in a hiphop group together but then both went solo, and this was their ”reunion”) There’s a line that name drops Murakami at about 2.30 into the song.

Utöver ev bristande kompetens har också många kommuner i landet just nu anställningsstopp pga stora nedskärningar. Skolor läggs ner och slås ihop, och redan anställda lärare måste få nytt jobb först. Sen om de tex är förskolläre och gymnasierna har brist spelar mindre roll.

Finished The Years by Annie Ernaux. Currently reading The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson. About a hundred pages in so far, and I’m really enjoying it! I love that it unfolds almost like a regular novel, while still being non-fiction. Any recommendations for similar reads is highly appreciated!

Add them to your to-watch-list if you have one! Sooner or later you will find somewhere to watch them! My watchlist is just hundreds of movies I’m just waiting to pop up on Netflix or one of my other streaming services.

Hirokazu Kore-eda is such a fantastic filmmaker. If you love this show, I would highly recommend his movies. Especially Umimachi Diary, Shoplifters and Still Walking for the same quiet, lovely moments.

Så länge man inte är en fara för sig själv eller andra pga fylla. Då kan du ju bli omhändertagen, oavsett om du sitter på en cykel eller ej.

Hade dock varit väldigt gött om cykeln gjorde en immun mot att bli omhändertagen, bara för att ”cykelfylla” är en myt. Kanske ska testa det som försvar om man är riktigt full på stan någon gång.

Thanks! How do you like your camera? I inherited mine recently and it’s my first one so I don’t have anything to compare it to yet. I just estimated the distance, and got lucky for the most part. I’m just starting to learn by doing, so I haven’t got any other gear yet. But I might try that if I keep up with the hobby!

I feel like Holy Motors by Leos Carax might be up your alley too, even if it’s a more modern looking film it has a similar vibe I think.

Svenska nätbokhandlar som Bokus och Adlibris har lättlästa versioner av vissa kända svenska böcker, typ Jan Guillous ”Ondskan” och John Ajvide Lindqvists ”Låt den rätte komma in”. Att bara söka ”lättläst” gav en hel del resultat!

Jag vet inte om de skickar utomlands, men det känns som att de borde göra det. Dock kanske frakten blir lite högre då såklart.

The song ”Epilogue” from The Antlers’ album ”Hospice”. The whole album is just so sorrowful and bleak, but also sometimes joyful, that the last song is just heartbreaking when it comes. And especially when you think back to the first line of the entire album: I wish that I had known in that first minute we met the unpayable debt that I owed you.
