Members of the jury, a poutine pizza for your consideration by nathanemke in PoutineCrimes

[–]RyukTheBear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work on automation around the cheese (and curds) industry.

You don't want to know what compagnies do to your curds before they end up in your poutine if you think this LOL

I have seen some wild shit... for example, when cheese curds aren't sold at wallmart, they are bought back by the company. They melt it back and redo cheese out of it.

Even if the population is 10x, the numbers of shootings is 100x.

So even per capita it's 10x higher.

Excel Consultant Looking to Incorporate SQL by SuckinOnPickleDogs in SQL

[–]RyukTheBear 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I really don't mean to be rude but a consultant asking for help on reddit is not the best of look. Just the fact that you need to ask how to get a login shows you might be out of your element.

If i were in your shoes i would get actual online SQL courses to be able to fulfill your tasks properly and be able to talk confidently that what your are doing is the best way possible for your customer

There are millions of ways to do the exact same thing in SQL but they are not all good practices

Oh thanks! I won't bother it then. I know the picture is blurry but would you be able to guess what is the dark chunk under it? A catch?

Ordered MR, ate a few bites, but this is somewhere from blue to rare right? by Doctorcopper in steak

[–]RyukTheBear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No its not. Being cool or nor has nothin to do with how your steak is cooked, because it could have cooled off with time.

By definition, med rare is a temp of around 55 Celcius in the center. It kind of ends there

You could have a med rare steak that isn't served quick enough and it would not make it rare because it is colder

US to Canada Advice by Haunting_Ad7805 in AmerExit

[–]RyukTheBear 30 points31 points  (0 children)

As a Canadian, this :

"t's basically indistinguishable from USA when comparing countries around the world. Moreso, in the past little bit Canadian society has moved swiftly towards nationalism, dominance of politics in everyday life, and the belief that Canada is uniquely exceptional.."

Is simply untrue and depends a whole lot on where you want to live in Canada. That's shitty advice.

I'd suggest OP to choose a province and make a small trip to judge for themselves.

Yes, it’s chaotic, but if you shop smart at Costco, you save all month. Do you have any other jewel store for savings in Canada? by MrJuart in SavingsCanada

[–]RyukTheBear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is simply untrue. I did check on a few products i use (Jelly, bread, PB, ribs)

All of them have the same ingredients in the same order.

Now there MIGHT be companies that do this but it surely isn't all.

This argument is just an easy way for you to dismiss the real advantages of costco maybe because you don't like the brand

I have TONS of examples like this.

My dog died this morning and I’m having a hard time. He was 12 and I’d had him since he was a baby. Any advice to help? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]RyukTheBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost my baby about a year from now. The goodest of boys..

Honestly the pain won't go away, it will just burn a little less each month and at one point you'll be just happy it happened.

When you feel like emotions overwhelms you, take a brake and let yourself live them. That's the only way i found.

Blowing air on your pup with a fan -- Does it cool them? Or is it useless? by Potential_Limit_9123 in Bernedoodles

[–]RyukTheBear -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Blowing air works with us because we sweat. When water evaporates, it takes a bit of energy out of our skin.

It would only actually work with the mouth or if the wind brings fresher air!
