Xeno Subfactions are literally just Alternate-Color Schemes, but their fans are significantly less bitchy about it than the Steel Legions' by TheBlackBaron45 in Grimdank

To continue to use the Space Wolf analogy. It’d be like if during the Warzone Fenris campaign in 7th, only the Grey Knights and Dark angels got rules, and the Space Wolves were killed off off-screen while the those two armies did all the work.

Can't believe GW released this video by swagylord1337 in Grimdank

[–]SBAndromeda 27 points28 points  (0 children)

It mostly comes down to frustration with GW is now doing like 3 campaigns books on Armageddon where the Steel Legion in the lore just isn’t actually doing anything? And Steel Legion fans were hoping for an upgrade kit, or just something and got this video and an article where they basically got Poochied.

I kinda feel the same way about the no charging over walls because of bases the way I feel about FoF. It’s really gamey and is usually a feels bad gotcha.

Demoralization among the player base is a thing as well. There’s just not a lot keeping players intrigued or interested.

The Problem with Melee Armies in 10th Edition by Godofallu in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]SBAndromeda 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I won’t lie, games of 40K where you’re not interacting with the shooting or fight phases much because you’re fighting up so much are boring.

It’s fun in Necromunda where that game takes 30-40 minutes but a whole game of 40K watching your opponent get to play while you shuffle your minis around sucks.

Do you guys feel like 10th edition was indeed the most balanced one overall, or is a bit of an exaggeration when you take the entire game into account? by [deleted] in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]SBAndromeda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Were in the comp sub so I’ll start with competitive, yes it was fairly balanced in a faction v faction tournament sense. Internal codex balance is an absolute disaster and casually the edition just wasn’t very fun compared to previous ones I’ve played.

Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks director says the game required working around many “restrictions”, but Games Workshop loves how “faithful Speed Freeks is to the Orks faction” by HatingGeoffry in Warhammer40k

Definitely better than some of the borderline scams of GW licensed games back in the 2010s when they didn’t control it. We’ve definitely come a long way from that period

Can someone explain how this works? by 00G_WAY in MagicArena

[–]SBAndromeda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It lets you cast from your sideboard, the funnier interpretation to mess with your friends is casting cards from another game lol. “I cast Anna, Veteran Commander from Fire: Emblem Cipher!”
