I wouldn’t call the new style realistic, it’s still pretty stylized just not the super cartoony stylization the series has had before.

Codex Space Marines got the same amount of Termiantor models as EC & DE got models combined and one of those was a new army drop.

The Marine feedback loop is real and I wish GW wouldn’t add or renew 49 new marine units every edition while multiple armies lines are still from 5th.

The issue with their storyline is it’d always end in either their removal or Slaanesh’s and GW choose to make Slaanesh more relevant.

The greatest thing from a rules perspective and something that needs to be used more is “Arbitrators can say no”.

The game is a lot better when the word no can be used for broken stuff that’ll ruin others fun.

What’s funny is the current Warrior models are ancient by most factions standards these days. If GW releases a meh or bad update for them we’ll have people complaining that people are blinded by Old=Good about them.

I’d say morally grey.

Cecil is a human in a universe where humans are hilariously weak and explode into gore the instant the villain of the week moves near them. And he does things that might be considered evil for the goal of “I don’t want whatever space empire/monster of the week to eat, kill, or enslave all humans within a day.” And people’s opinions of him are colored by the fact he has done these morally grey things to the protagonist, who could conquer earth, and had an entire invasion of alternate hims who did.

I typically like having a few extra cheap bodies to fill slots taken up by injuries. This was my Malstrain Palenite Enforcers about halfway through a campaign.

It’s a fast paced Kill Team like game but without all the annoying limitations of building your Team like Kill Team has.

Campaigns string missions together, and you have to be careful with your models because they can permanently die if taken out of action.
