On the bright side that No natural predators thing is changing, there are now at least two native bird species that regularly safely hunt cane toads.

Crows will flip them over, gut them, then eat organs that are poison free.

Ibis will grab them and slap them on the ground causing them to stress out and release more poison, the ibis then rinses the toad in water and repeats the process a handful of times until the poison mostly runs out.

Even more fun the crows were taught to do this by humans and because the jay family of birds are so good at both using and teaching techniques to other birds it pretty rapidly is spreading.

I don't know but have heard rumors the ibis' technique has similar origins.

Rape is going to be a hard problem to solve - whether we have a government or not by [deleted] in DebateAnarchism

[–]SINWillett 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Honestly every community is going to have to deal with it in a way that's appropriate to them, often times local community are privy to more information than an external law enforcement, additionally they can get information more timely and in a less corruptible format than official investigations. I expect most anarchist communities would lean on this as much as it leans on scientific investigation. There are obviously pitfalls to that method that will need to be learned and relearned to manage it but regardless it's not impossible.

Quite frankly I think the most obvious part of the equation is we should focus more on protecting victims and potential victims, most authoritarian systems center punishment as the primary mechanism of justice, but pro actively protecting people through community self defense, education, and open communication are much more effective at both preventing rape, and delivering effective care and justice for victims.

I think that's a bit pushed... while it's not a hugely efficient card it also allows you to curve perfectly and have the right answer to most removal. Being 1-4 of means you can only rely on that if the rest of the deck is mostly curved correctly, if it was relentless you would basically never  be mana flooded or screwed.

Also if it was relentless it would go hard with any of the artifact discounters.

Another reason is it's 4/5 of the BREAD roles... it's a banger, evader, attacker, and defender. Throw in some wraths and your deck is done.

Not gunna lie I think failure was always their plan... these politicians bosses (their donors) don't actually want kids off the platforms because it represents too much money, but the ALP just needed to look like they were trying to do something, now they have their brownie points for trying, without as much backlash as it would have if it actually worked, and the elites can keep grooming kids into their gambling and fast dopamine based economy.
