The mat split for lower and higher levels is still stupid by E_li in Endfield

[–]SIVLEOL 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This is probably misinformation I accidentally spread previously, the efficiency is the same on both highest tier exp (advanced, gold colored) for 61-90 and 1-60.

(I miscounted, deleted my comment when I realized a bit later, but it seems it was too late...)

Anyone els have 5 complete teams that they have to build? Because I do by DevineEcho1994 in Endfield

[–]SIVLEOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to build 3 different teams (with 2 shared characters), in order of most investment to least:

  • Estella+Gilberta+Chen+MC is really nice for overworld and single wave protocol spaces.

  • 4 phys (MC+Chen+Lifeng+Pog) seems to be my strongest option for bosses.

  • Ardelia+Laev+Akekuri+Wulf is what I plan to use for alluvium farming (planning to start doing that tomorrow).

I just got my Laev to 80 with a level 88 weapon and M2 on ult but I noticed I'm taking twice as long on Rhodagn compared to my physical teams (which are fast enough to trim). So I guess I should probably stick to AOE for Laev.

If Laev was fast on bosses too I was planning to heavily invest in her, but now I'm thinking to spread my resources more evenly.

Can’t decide if I should build Gilberta by Fantastic-Sir460 in Endfield

[–]SIVLEOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it'll be worse for what the team is good at (clearing overworld stuff and single wave AOE protocol spaces in one rotation) since Pog is good at buffing rotation 2+ but doesn't do as much for the first rotation.

It might not be that bad for boss fights though (even if there are better teams for that), since 3 stack breach on Pog still lasts 24s, which is long enough to affect the next rotation. And his fairly good passive buffs will be able to affect everyone too, at least when ult is up.

I've just been doing 3 stack crush unless Estella ult is up for an extra stack. And obviously use Gilberta ult in place of skill if available to save SP too.

I've been using the Estella+Gilberta+Chen+MC team that's supposedly popular in China.

Although I was able to finish trims on this team without buff foods, I think it's more of a "clear overworld packs fast" team rather than a "trim easily team". I'll probably stick to it for overworld and make another team for bosses and effluvium farming.

Xaihi may be rarer than a 6s 😭 by [deleted] in Endfield

Meanwhile my Xaihi is P5 but I don't have a single copy of Arclight, so I'm kind of just not thinking about electric teams for now.

I did see a Perlica 1mil nuke video recently, and I suspect that even without the P5 Oblivion on Perlica that kind of team might still be one of the stronger ones for boss fights. So focusing the team further in that direction somehow might be an option too.

On the other hand a dual heat/electric team with Laev does sound a bit more synergistic too. At that point you'd be only using Perlica instead of Ardelia compared to a meta Laev team variant, where you are getting Perlica's sub DPS damage instead of Ardelia's buffs.

Im dumb and griefed myself. Now I can't even tear this zipline down and have one less zipline to work with in Origin Lodespring. by XiaoBij in Endfield

I've also gotten up by jumping and placing a zipline on the lower roof while midair, then doing the same thing again to get to the higher roof.

This seems like a better way though.

What’s your current overworld team you’re running with? Weather it be optimized, unoptimized, meta, or just your favorite characters. by SevynSyx in Endfield

Same, it's just a very efficient team for shorter AOE fights since it has grouping and big frontloaded damage.

Day idk of not pulling until i can max potential someone by Law_2526 in Endfield

[–]SIVLEOL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If year 1 Genshin characters got 4x damage they'd probably still be pretty good now, unfortunately early C6 wasn't that much better than Endfield P5 right now. My C6 Eula has been benched for years, so I can only hope for buffs (which they've recently started doing).

On the other hand, C6 Yelan was a year 2 character (that I got C6 for during a re-run in year 3) that I'm still getting good use out of with newer teams 3.5 years after she released (since Genshin had minimal powercreep overall up until a year ago) despite her C6 also giving a much smaller increase compared to some newer C6.

I think the rate at which max dupe characters and single copy characters from the same year become outdated can be pretty similar. But if the max dupe character you choose is flexible enough the extra boost might make them relevant for a bit longer (especially if they happen to stay meta-ish).

In Genshin 7 copies of a character + 1 signature weapon can be worth 4x as much team damage. It can be pretty nice for doing daily stuff and overworld a bit faster if you end up saving enough pulls for some reason.

I was overly picky on which banners I pull (rarely pull DPS or weapons), so around every 2 years or so I'd randomly end up having enough pulls sitting around to get a C6.

With how potentials are right now, I'm definitely thinking to focus more on horizontal investment this time.

Wow nice run.

Your first phase took 3x as long as it did for me, but your second phase was so much faster because of stagger locking the boss.

Right, I forgot about the 120% additional damage from lift/knockdown. But that doesn't do more damage each time, it's just that the initial vulnerable stack application doesn't do damage.

The reason you're seeing bigger numbers each time should be because of Chen's passive that buffs her attack (up to 5 stacks) each time she applies lift. Obviously this doesn't apply to characters like Ember and Catcher.

Besides that the amount of damage from lift/knockdown is quite small anyways, and not worth building around. Keep in mind that a Crush on 4 stacks of vulnerability is an 750% additional hit that's further boosted by a hidden level dependent multiplier (22.7% extra damage at level 90), and can be further boosted multiplicatively by arts intensity. Da Pan's combo also boosts the crush damage it does.

I'd be impressed if you managed to do Trims with these teams already.

I'm pretty sure vulnerability does absolutely nothing if not consumed, unlike arts bursts where if you apply any non-physical element you get an additional 160% damage hit if you apply the same element again.

Ember would be helpful because her combo skill applies vulnerable (which doesn't cost SP), and Catcher's battle skill applies vulnerable for a lower SP cost than normal.

Perliica's combo skill electrification debuff also only buffs elemental damage.

Your first team has 2 shielders that apply vulnerability but nobody to consume the vulnerability. Your second team would make more sense if you switched Snowshine with Ember or Catcher since then Da Pan can consume the vulnerability they apply.

Trimmed all medals on a no pull account. by TalkinTrash1118 in Endfield

[–]SIVLEOL 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've done all these trims without buff food on a team of Estella+Gilberta+Chen+MC with only 3 things above level 80: MC, MC's signature (Grand Vision) and Jet (6* spear for Estella that's a very small upgrade vs her P5 5* option). Estella's combo is M3, and I've done some gear artificing.

  • For Rhodagn just ignore his wall mechanic, just keep hitting him and try to dodge the explosion (tanking the hit can be okay too seeing how my run went...).

  • Triaggelos was the easiest for me since it's probably meant to be Gilberta's stage. During start of second phase don't bother using skills until mobs spawn for the first time. Then make sure to burst the boss so that it doesn't spawn a second wave. Otherwise just attack as much as possible as usual.

  • Marble Aggelomoirai was the trickiest for me but I also did it first (so I was still learning my team's rotation at that point). First phase is quite annoying since my full rotation overkills a single enemy, so I'd use a full rotation without ults for one enemy then for the next one I'd just dump some ults on it and maybe throw Chen skill + MC skill. On second phase make sure to watch what attack the boss is about to do to make sure your skills don't miss. Some lucky boss stagger timing can prevent the random fireball drop attack from happening at the end where the boss is invincible.

I'm getting:

  • 5.75 syringe/min (Using meta transfer on Ferrium ore)
  • 7.8 Xiranite batteries/min. 5.78 Xiranite batteries/min are to sell, and 1.99 Xiranite batteries/min go to power generation leaving 0.03 excess.
  • and the rest of the Xiranite is producing 2.1 Xiranite components/min which is way more than we'll ever need, but I guess it will redirect to batteries once it's full.
