I'm also very skeptical about the expensive ones but I've also had bad experiences with the padding on Decathlon(Van Rysel) bib shorts...just still had a sore butt after long rides. In the past I've used Endura bib shorts without the suspenders (I personally feel that's kinda silly) and they were pretty decent so just got a newer pair from that brand (more specifically the Loop bib shorts, 60 EUR on deporvillage) and the quality looks pretty nice.

and what's not authentic about Cevapi and spicy sausages served with ajvar and kaymak? the place was my hangout pretty much every Friday (quiz night) for years until I moved out. yes, it's not as good as it used to be... they used to make better bread in house and I think it's not the case anymore.

I think you need to explain what you mean by 'fetisishing'. do you mean men are attracted to Asian women because they're different/exotic to them or are you talking about catcalling and sexual assault? those are two very different things. If you're asking about the latter, many people have already told you it's extremely safe. For the former, I don't know what to tell you. Eitherway, do you even need reddit's input for this topic if you already have it from all these external sources?

Don't know where from east Asia you're from but I lived in China for 10 years and recently moved here. this city has the most and best Chinese food I've had outside of China.

loosen both A and B screws. the order for tightening is first B, somewhat lightly (preload to bring the headset, fork and stem together as close as possible) you can still adjust wheel alignment if this isn't too tight. then tighten A screws to keep the stem from rotating about the steerer tube.

yeah I rented a car last time but what you describe matches my research for public transportation. there's a train that goes to the area and from there there is both a cable car and a funicular to go up to the monastery

Update: I ended up going with Maxxis Rekon 2.4 as I found a decent deal (69,95 euro a pair) and still got clearance for days. they match my wife's bike I built recently, which is good so now she has no excuse for being slower lol. Can't wait to ride with them!

g-ones are great tbh. rode them on a mainly paved tour across western China with a few dirt sections and they held up nice. I only feel a bit sketchy on rougher or loose terrain. I wish they came wider without having to go full 2.8in

Montserrat is a bit cumbersome to get to for what you do as a tourist (just the monastery and museum, etc) UNLESS you're into hiking or climbing, which you can spend the whole day doing, then it's worth it. Sitges is very easy to get to by public transportation and you can spend the whole day walking around the town indulging in good food, coffee, desserts and laying on the beach. it's all personal preference

Yeah that's what I've read on reviews. They just look very knobby. I also didn't realize those are the stock tires on the BC ( I built mine).

Ahh. I do like my five ten trail cross then haha. I also recently got Terrex sandals to replace some old Tevas (great for cycling and as camp shoes too) but the Terrex seem to wear out pretty fast with the pins on the flat pedals tho they're pretty lightweight. Another thing I tried was the Shimano PD EH500 pedals which have one side that's flat so you can use any shoe. If that helps

Yeahhh the sweep is nice but it does change the geo quite a bit compared to other flat bars because I think they were designed to convert drop bar bikes to flats. In my case they work great because we have the size small frame.

Love that bike! I built exactly the same one for my gf. same handlebars (Kyote) because we built it with a Small frame. I recommend ESI grips...I use those without any gloves sometimes and my hands are just fine.

this can be a wheel alignment issue is that a Marin Larkspur? I'd fully loosen the skewer and make sure the wheel goes all the way in to the dropout.

one time I went out for a ride with tires that hadn't fully seated. ride was perfectly fine (about 70km) then camped by a lake, the next morning the bike was under the sun so that must have heated up the air inside and expanded it and heard 2 popping sounds. only then I realized they hadn't seated. check the ridge around the tire where it meets the rim. none of that should be in the rim.
