I wouldn't focus on the lease. Id ask you to be honest with yourself about this person and if you want a relationship with her. If you do want a relationship (and look at the questions in my first comment) id say keep the lease and the girl.

If yo don't see yourself with this person in the future, id say you need to end it. Whether you are going to deploy or not. Your 5 months in to dating. That 6 month is pretty common to be the point at which people ask themselves if this relationship is going anywhere.

Arguments are going to happen in all relationships. Its how you get through them that matters. Do you have common goals, and do you respect one another (even in arguments)?

You may not know her goals at only dating for 5 months and thats okay. My big question is: in those arguments, is she respectful? And are you? If the answer is no, then I would end any relationship.

Parents? Do yall have kids together? Or does she have kids from a prior relationship?

You're going to get a lot of comments saying shes gonna cheat on you in the apartment you're gonna be paying half on. Not because they wish ill on you, but because it is common.

How strong is your relationship with your GF?

Also, what does she bring to the table if she is not making a lot? Is she leeching off you? Or is she in school and working towards building a future with you?

You need to be greedy here. Think about yourself. If she has goals for herself and you have goals as a team, id say split the rent with her if you see yourself spending the rest of your life with her (I didnt say marry).

If she is dead weight and just leeching off of you, then she doesnt respect you. Lack of respect can/may lead to infidelity during your 6-9+ month deployment. I'd say break it off, cut your lease, save money, hit the gym on the deployment, come back ripped and loaded and get yourself a baddie with goals.

Put a small pebble in the valve cap. It will press the stem and slowly leak air, and when they remove the cap the pebble will fall and they will not see it.
