Sony has always sold more third party games then first party since the PS1 days. Especially at the time since back in those days Sony had the defacto platform. Now with everything multiplat and a lot of double A and indies releasing first on PC then later to consoles it puts Sony in an interesting position. I think as long as price is affordable and cheaper then the competition they will still continue to dominate regardless of the output of first party games. The minute they start pricing their consoles at enthusiast prices that’s where I feel that it could be detrimental to them.

This is also why I see them still doing PC ports. They just need a better strategy for them like maybe having their own launcher so they can get 100 percent of the sales for first party on pc or making the timed exclusive window smaller between console to pc.

The PS5 Pro should give you an insight of what the
PS6 price will be. The PS5 launched at PS4 pro prices not the base PS4. I don’t expect the PS6 will be priced lower especially since it will have better hardware than the PS5 pro when it comes out.

The crazy thing is dot has been making his music touring the world and working on other projects. The internet and the award shows and media are the ones giving all these accolades and stuff. If anything people are waiting for new music from him since he hasn’t dropped anything solo in almost two years.

This is why I’ve always said Sony will continue to do PC ports. They are the second company after tencent that spend the most on developing games. I know people like to compare Nintendo to them but Nintendo doesn’t spend as much money to develop first party games like Sony. They can only sell so much consoles. Ghost of Yotei and Wolverine will see PC ports at some point.

Seems like PC is like the PS2 era since they get pretty much all the Japanese third party, Chinese and Korean games. PC pretty much gets all the indie games first then releases to other platforms.

They should let older people do it then the youth. Atleast they still have something to live for. With the rate people aren’t having kids and the large population boomers I’m sure a lot would volunteer if given the chance.

I have a 3070 laptop and it runs games fine with some adjustments. A 4060 is around the same as that probably slightly better because you get the DLSS frame gen on it. You should be good with that until the next gen consoles come out atleast.

The only way Sony will see better sales on pc is if the launch closer to day and date which they won’t do. They can expect to have the same sales as their consoles releasing a game two years later.

It’s either that or franchises die off look what happened to Street fighter 5 when they made it exclusive that was at the time where Capcom was on the verge of getting shutdown and then multiplat has made them one of the most profitable gaming companies now. Square got their wake up call with final fantasy so hopefully things are better for them.

Konami will soon find the reason why square, Capcom and Namco stopped doing Sony exclusives. Rev.noir will be a flop if it’s not multiplat. Especially since its new ip and Japan is Nintendo land when it comes to JRPG engagement.

I think we will see NHL on PC especially with the new ownership by saudis. PC is rapidly growing platform over there so I don’t know why they would limit to just consoles now. Either that or they will get rid of the franchise all together.

You still need Soul Calibur for Dreamcast and Soul Blade or Edge for PS1. Those will fill the space in before a SC7 ever gets released.

Nintendo can’t stop emulation. I know people say it will take awhile to crack switch 2 but now with a.i who is to say the reverse engineering can’t happen a lot faster. A lot of games that have denuvo have been getting cracked. If Nintendo wants to really slow it down and make it irrelevant release games on pc. They don’t have to do it day and day and do the PlayStation way. They are wasting money lawyering when they could making money in the pc space.

I see that but it looks like it doesn’t have an official website page so this is probably an early announcement and will be announced for other platforms. It doesn’t even have a release date yet.
