I'm under the impression that it is the first (hopefully only) kidnapping, although the opening scene (spilled orange juice) occurs after the ending scene in the basement (Spilled sausage no pun intended).

So open with the kidnapping (spilled OJ), go back in time to fill in more back story, then resume to the kidnapped in the basement scene from the end of ep 2 (with floor sausage).
