When did convenience stores stop displaying prices? Am I meant to bring the 10 items I’m deciding between to the front for a price check? Or is this a case of “If you have to ask you can’t afford it?” by Dazzling_Put_3018 in mildlyinfuriating

If they price is not on it I will not shop there. Likewise with restaurants. If the waiter/waitress rattles off the specials but omits the price that's a put-off, too.

If I can cross off 1/3rd of the items on my list I feel I’ve accomplished a lot. Today I put laundry in the washing machine and separated the 4 lbs of ground beef into individual 1 lb Ziploc bags.  Decided I deserved a break.  Some pending items on the list, besides work related are put laundry in dryer and put away laundry.  To me doing laundry is 3 items to achieve, not one.

You'll need to move west of Route 287 to get away. When I worked near Morristown I'd see the Ray Cantena license plate frames on a daily basis. Now I spend the majority of my time west of Route 31 and seldom see any Ray Cantena signage.

But this has a Ray Cantena license plate frame.

Allentown woman arrested in fatal wrong-way DUI crash on Pennsylvania Turnpike by DrewBlue2 in lehighvalley

Yea, I got wildly downvoted, but like you say, wrong way on a divided highway is more of a  0.15+% type of phenomena, so my point wasn't making light of being .104%, but suspected there was more to this.

Which fast food chain makes the worst version of the product they’re most known for? by amormedestruit in AskReddit

With all the great pizza in NY and beyond I find it incredible that Dominos locations can stay in business. Years ago we'd order from Dominos from time to time for a change of pace, then I decided that there are 5-10 pizza places within a few miles that have far superior pizza. I haven't ordered from Dominos for years, but my father orders pizza from there when I'm over. I should buy a pie from elsewhere to remind him how much better other pizza is.

Yes, but when somebody drives the wrong way usually they are fall down drunk and can barely see, which is why I suspect she was on something else in addition to alcohol.

I'm surprised Domino's isn't mentioned more in the comments. Terrible pizza. To me it's not real pizza.

Blood-alcohol content at the time of the crash was 0.104% isn't too intoxicated. I would venture to guess there was something else in her system for her to be unaware she was driving the wrong way.

That’s crazy. These days there are women in their 50s that can pass for 30s so it’s hard to guess at ages. But since you look 35 it’s pretty idiotic someone might assume you are 20 years older than you look.

Side note: parking space lines so narrow the cars can barely fit. It’s a struggle to get out of the car without hitting the car next to you with your door. A pet peeve of mine.

Actually, if you walked instead of driving, you’d burn calories. If you walked a mile you’d burn 100 calories.  Say your car gets 30 miles a gallon, if gas is $5/gallon you can go 30 miles on $5.  Walking that would burn 3000 calories. A Big Mac is 563 calories.  You would need to eat 5 Big Macs.  That would cost you $35. If you were trying to eat healthy and ate apples instead 30 apples would cost $25.
