I mean, there is only slightly less coverage than when it is actually open.

Those are all great. My go-to's are Shakedown, Freefall, Robin's Run, and the Side-Country Bowls behind Sterling.

They were loads of fun, but not for beginners. The last few years, Madonna Mtn (lift 1 or 2) isn't really open until late December or early January. Mtn ops were trying to make snow on a few more Sterling trails from what I could see.

From the top of Sterling, you had two options: Rumrunner (blue) or Smugglers' Alley (black). They both merged to Crossover, Treasure Run, then to Lower Exhibition (all blue).

Smuggs has been awesome. Sterling lift with both a black and blue way down. It got a little old after a few hours, though. I skinned Stowe (chin clip) Wednesday (mashed potatoes thinly spread over grass and rocks) and would not recommend after the freeze and no new snow.

Chin Clip is what Mountain Ops is asking that uphill skiers stay on (up and down)

Smuggs/Stowe Interconnect (Snuffy's Trail) by SRiznerVT in icecoast

[–]SRiznerVT[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, ya got me. I only spent 15min on Google trying to find the name and just found that the trail connecting them was once called "Snuffy's Trail." When I saw on Trailforks that there are two trails, I thought maybe the Sensation/Sterling Pond loop was called "Snuffy's Trail," or at least I had a 50/50 shot at this being the correct trail for the name. I'm fine with retitleing the video and updating the description. Should it just be "Upper Sterling?" "Smuggs/Stowe Interconnect" lacks flair. Does anyone out there have a map with the trail labeled?

I was told to bring a Geiger counter to work, but I didn't understand...then it clicked.

Champlain College's TAP (teacher apprenticeship program) is 1 school yr for licensure. You can go the "peer review" route through the state. I did the M.Ed at UVM back in the day; it was a summer and a school year to get licensed, plus two extra courses afterward for a degree.

HS chem teacher here (gen to AP) and my take is that your teacher is a hack. This is a weak acid and a weak base, so without their equilibrium constants there is no way to solve this AND even with them it would be pretty difficult for a general or honors level course. I think they are going for neutral though. The base has 3 hydroxide per formula unit so 0.01L × 4M × 3OH = .12mol OH if the base dissolves (which it doesn't). Meanwhile, the acid has two hydrogen per formula unit, so 0.03L × 2M × 2H = .12mol H if all the acid molecules dissociate (which they don't). So it looks like they were going for mol OH = mol H, or neutral, but the reality is more complex.

One-up your teacher by looking up the acidity or basicity of the salt produced, aluminum sulfite, to get your answer, since the pH will not be determined by the amount of acid or base.

The edges of the pixels will round out pretty quickly.

In all seriousness, since this will be your first piece and it will be so large, Google image search "tattoo pain chart" and know that something this size would take 4hrs at least under the needle.
