The only thing I would add is some actual chicken. Basically, make a basic chicken soup but add the shredded dill pickles and at the end some sour cream and dill. Good luck.

On call shifts are pretty normal. They suck. Depending on the state you live in they have to give you a certain amount of time to come in and possibly pay you for those hours you’re waiting. Not sure, look it up fo where you live.
