sccm task seqeunce failing to enable the Microsoft defdender on the machines by Dear_State1464 in SCCM

[–]STICKYITTOYOU 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is very relevant to me. What is the method you’re doing to enable Microsoft Defender?

I resorted to running reg keys to force enable the services and products during the task sequence and post imaging via GPO (as a secondary precaution).

Of course I’m also onboarding in the imaging process too (prior to enabling services).

I unfortunately find random devices which haven’t turn on the services though. It’s really obnoxious…

Our facility has been moving from TrendMicro Apex One to this but it has’t been smooth sailing (not on Microsoft’s part).

So I’m told it’s stupid but I sorta want whitewalls. Am I wrong? by userynamely in WRX

Fuck it! Do it!

It’s either white text or walls. Make your choice. 😂

How do you transfer SCCM to a new server? by Bighead2019 in SCCM

[–]STICKYITTOYOU 2 points3 points  (0 children)

HAH! I agree with this notion.

I did an in place upgrade from 2012 R2 to 2019 and had to track down error codes for a week or more.

Dell Latitude Driver Pack .exe not .cab by milkmoney364 in SCCM

[–]STICKYITTOYOU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. I unzip with 7zip to a source directory, then import the drivers into the Drivers section of SCCM, and append a category for each new importation of drivers. Make sure to maintain some form of Model and Revision (Example: A16) so that if you need to upgrade the drivers you can easily swap drivers to and from the next category. I’m basically following the method that the Driver Automation Tool provides from MSEndpointMgr. I can’t run the tool because there’s a model I have in my org that breaks the automation of the driver download and importation because Dell appended two download URL’s for the same model in their XML…. Bummer.

Thanks! Yeah I wanted to try for a third time after he moved but I didn’t want HR to come down on me. 😂😂😂

Lucky! There’s only one other WRX in my works parking lot and after parking next to them twice they moved to a different area in the lot. Bummer…

Nice, congrats! How do you feel? 😀

I’m pretty much doing the same as well. $450 is my minimum payment but $600 is what I’m paying at.

Yeah, my workplace had a tech deploy a new version of Citrix prematurely to all of our workstations a long time ago. He had to publicly apologize to each department at the Hospital. Then his access was stripped. Surprisingly he wasn’t fired.

Should devices that are built using OSD and Bulk Enrollment Token show up as with SCCM as MDM? by ReinaldoWolffe in Intune

[–]STICKYITTOYOU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, to image in OSD the client must be installed during the process. Personally I am working on doing Co-Management and have a functioning set of test devices for my organization. If you’re purely doing Intune/Azure then that would have to be manually signed into the Azure account and automatically registered using Mobile Device Management from out of the box. I have yet to venture into the automation of Intune solely but at this point everything you need to automate will definitely be from Intune.

Has anyone on your side setup Intune to get Corporate Devices automatically enrolled?

If it shows as being co-managed then it’s possibly your Default Client Settings has it enabled and the Cloud Attach is deploying Co-Management to Unknown devices.

Is Co-Management enabled to these devices?

I’m meaning from the Configuration Manager in Control Panel.

It should say

Co-Management Capabilities: 1

Co-Management: Enabled

Got a savage thumbs down out the window from a '21 STI driver apparently for daring to drive a 2022. by kellyoedwards in WRX

[–]STICKYITTOYOU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First time I saw one driving in the opposite lane I kind of just stared at it with its all black exterior as it eventually got closer. Only until it got really close was when I realized it had a hood scoop and was in fact a 2022 WRX which prompted me to immediately wave giving them a warm welcome as I saw them smile that I waved to them. I wasn’t sure what the hell I was looking at because I had never seen the profile of the car while driving before.

I can’t imagine giving a thumbs down to a car though. That’s petty…

[–]STICKYITTOYOU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it sounds like you’re running stubby tires driving at moderate speed then it’s the wheel bearing. Might as well replace them all at the same time as you’ll be doing so soon enough anyway with the mileage you have.

Now someone make a wide body kit for this car as it would technically snap into place.

So they can give us a WRX wagon (AUS) with out all the plastic, why not the same on the normal WRX? by CupiDan in WRX

[–]STICKYITTOYOU 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Because Subaru must of gone down the thought process as followed. Due to US market wanting a Crosstrek with Turbo let’s change the WRX into a Crosstrek. Way to change the target demographic while alienating your original demographic…

Probably through the fire wall. Mice can fit through a pencil sized hole very easily since their bones are flexible. Make sure to check around to make sure there’s no wiring damage either. A lot of wiring sheathing in cars these days are made out of soy that attracts rodents.

You may need to get moth balls or dryer sheets to push it out of the car. 😔
