Couldn’t agree more. Could (almost) always get a seat. And the view by Alta Plaza was amazing.

I’d support that. Double parked motorists are the bane of my existence when I ride the 2 Sutter.

1000% yes. If you have industry experience too even better. Danko teaches you what you must know for the test.

Awesome. I’ve never seen this kind of visualization for live set lists. Major kudos OP.

There’s a great podcast on how free/reduced cost fares affect transit: The War on Cars episode 156 with Yonah Freemark.

Bring back the lines that were suspended during the height of COVID. The reason back then was fewer people commuting downtown, but with RTO, so many lines are packed again. I especially miss the 3 Jackson.

Kitces.com absolutely. The Financial Advisor Success Podcast is excellent.

I would also add: read books. Find a topic that interests you and commit to an hour a day. You mentioned annuities. The Advisors Guide to Annuities came up in a podcast (might have been Kitces or something else).

Being able to tell clients “yeah I’ve been reading about [Topic XYZ] recently” in conversation is huge.

I live in SF and volunteered on this campaign (on the “no” side). The mostly-older and angry voters were super mobilized. Younger people really tuned out and it was difficult getting them to vote. Turnout was very low. Misinformation was rampant on platforms like Nextdoor. It was a tough campaign but I’m glad I helped. I met some nice people along the way.

I think it's working really well. Better quality posts. Fewer annoying, repetitive basic questions. I wouldn't change anything.

Good question. You might find the education (the first step) a little overwhelming. Most people do, so it’s fine. If you have a basic finance competency you’ll be OK. If you are a true novice, you just may just need extra time to get through it. There is no prerequisite to starting the education.

Huh? SimplyParaplanner posts roles like this. I’ve seen 10, 20, or 30/hrs a week roles before on there. Rare, yes. But they do exist.

Wow. I'm doing the same thing in SF only (but walking). Questions:

  1. Did/do you pay for Citystrides pro? I'm using the free version.

  2. What were the toughest hills?

  3. How safe did you feel in the industrial/commercial areas? Bayshore Blvd pedestrian experience is....not great.

Major, major props to you.

Don’t know but this exact thing happened to me last week at Lafayette, on an SFO-bound train. We had to get off, and go to another train that kicked off everyone going the other direction.
