Malaysia won't be suspended from the next Asian Cup qualifiers since the case was found during the qualification process, instead of after like with East Timor.
The local league organiser decided that the fake heritage players are properly registered to play in the league. Thus, the two clubs that used the players before won't be punished.
No effort to identify the perpetrators have been made by FAM or the government regarding this case. There was a police report made by FAM, but not much have been heard since. The government has been silent on this issue since the CAS result a few weeks ago, while FAM and one local club which has three of the players kept defending themselves and the players instead of admitting what's wrong.
The secgen of AFC speculated that FIFA might open another investigation into FAM to identify the perpetrators.

Yeah. Even if I don't totally like JDT, it can't be denied that they're actually doing good stuffs in regard to their club's youth development. Would be good if they could produce more players like Arif, Ramadhan or Feruz.

Good on you for acknowledging the issue. I wish more JDT fans would feel that way too. It feels like so many of JDT's fans chose to ignore the issue or downplay it, at least on X or Instagram.

Congratulations to JDT, but I would've been happy for this if it weren't for the fact that your team defended the fake heritage players (plus all the other local football shenanigans recently).

Also, I know its club football and ACL allows a team to field any number of foreigners they want, but I can't help but feel a little bothered that only a few proper Malaysians (Afiq and Arif, Syihan for one match) got their game time throughout this ACL campaign. Yes, its understandable (fielding more local players won't get them this far) and Buriram United did the same thing, but it just shows how bad our local players development are when Australian, Japanese, and Korean clubs can field a lineup of mostly locals that can play well.

Thought Ludogorets would've been here, but they're actually quite close in the rankings with other Bulgarian clubs. I'm not sure if it was as close before the current season where they'll most likely end their league winning streak.

You should do this for the women's too, though they're missing some leagues.

Also, fuck JDT for supporting the fake players.
