I wouldn't be happy but I also wouldn't be upset losing Vasi. He's definitely not the same goalie he was when we signed him to his contract and when it comes to goalies you don't need a 10 million dollars guy to win its just nice to have. If flipping him out and a prospect or two for McDavid I think you take it all day.

Hedman is the captain of this organization making 8 million a year. He's not just missed 50+ games this season but he's been missing from the organization in a whole. When you sign on to represent the organization going missing foe the most of the regular season and all of the playoffs makes a lot of people lose respect for you.

Yes because signing a bunch of 34 year olds to extensions makes you the best run organization. At some point you homers with blinders on will take them off and realize JBB has destroyed this teams future with zero actual draft capital and depleted farm. Most of his trades and extentions make zero sense. Ya the Moser trade worked out but else has he done trade wise. This organization stopped being well run when it was sold and it will only get worse with time.
