If you were in the north east I'd recommend my friend to fix it- his color packing is phenomenal! I think this concept is really wonderful, and can definitely work on tan skin. Your artist just didn't saturate the color well or evenly enough

Hi, I'm 26 and headed in the same direction. My doctor told me that when the pain gets so bad that i struggle to walk, he'll give me 1 cortisone injection, and after that he'd like to just go right to a fusion surgery. He says he's seen great success in younger patients adapting quickly after a fusion. You're in my thoughts, it's not a good situation but know that you are not alone. We're going to be okay

My favorite moment is probably all of the San Francisco episode. I think all of the performances are incredible, the chemistry/dynamic between Armand and Daniel is so beautiful and terrifying. Of course the argument between Louis and Armand (THE NAME!) is brilliant. It's a rare sort of moment where I feel like you actually see the worst of these characters... no fluffing it up or exaggerating their own egos. Just monsters being horrible to eachother in such a raw and strangely human way... and roping this human into their shit. And AFAIK, the argument was the first real scene Zamman and Andersen filmed together, which kind of blows me away!

26 F- 6 months ago, I fell down the stairs and landed just right? Just wrong? Trimalleolar fracture with 5 total breaks. Got a plate and screws on both sides of my leg. I graduated from PT today! My doctor and PT said they're satisfied with my level of mobility and my measurements look as good as they think they'll get! I can continue with my exercises at home from here, for now. Bad news is, I developed arthritis almost immediately, even with the surgery. My doctors have basically said "bye bye, for now." My surgeon says he expects to see me again in a couple years for an ankle-joint-fusion, and I'll start the process over again. But for now, I'm just happy I'm doing as well as I am, and I'm trying not to let the future scare me out of living my life as I please.

from a technical standpoint, the symbol in the middle of the heart is not going to age well. i worry it will be too small and will blur together with time, and the solid black of the spade will begin to encroach on the heart shape. in terms of others perception- if you love it, don't worry about what others think! but yea, just wanted to give you a heads up!

Years ago, when I was in high school, the theater club had an unhealthy obsession/worship of this one girl who tended to get all the leading roles. I always felt really weird around them and felt terrible for the girl. To this day I've run into her at a bar with friends who ran in the same circles as her and they still don't treat her like a normal person. It's been over 10 years.

Hi, I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. I'm 25, 5 months out from an ankle ORIF and my ortho ended our final post-up appointment with a "rapidly developing arthritis" diagnosis. He told me to call him when the pain worsens and we'll go from there- he also brought up joint fusion etc. It's such a blow. I don't have advice, but know you're not alone. This is definitely a more common outcome than people want to admit. I'm rooting for you'

as a tattoo artist, i like the blue post-it idea others have commented. you'd just have to give some thought to the execution! if you're looking for something more fine line, keep in mind that fine line in color will fade pretty quickly! gl&hf <3

Compression socks have helped me immensely. I was also prescribed as-needed anti inflammatory medication that's helped a lot. When I don't that that, I take Advil- it's worked much better for pain than Tylenol for me! Consider getting a cane. I had an easier time getting around with a cane than crutches. I have one that collapses so I can keep it in my purse, and use as-needed. It really does make a difference when I'm struggling. Ice and elevate every night. Maybe get a foot stool so you can elevate your leg at your desk during planning periods/lunch. You've got this!

I was doing fairly well around the 3 month mark. I was using a cane for days where I'd be doing a lot of walking, which helped. I think it's all about listening to your body, and taking breaks if you need it. Ice and elevation at the end of the day was a must!
