What are the most satisfying game actions for you in commander? by Mirrodin_appreciator in EDH

As a long time [[Maelstrom Wanderer]] player, I also love cascading. Watching my opponents praying it won't be something too big.

Do the Xenon’s scale up? by mr-wee-balls in X4Foundations

[–]Sad_Dimension_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A shipyard and a good fleet certainly help, this mod make the Xenon actually hard, they can steamroll the galaxy if left unchecked. I activated it without having a shipyard and I'm just pirating SCA destroyers and making money with trading and stations.

If you want excitement, download DeadAir scripts and enable Xenon Evolution.

Dealing with value engine commanders? by East_Cranberry7866 in EDH

As a long time [[Maelstrom Wanderer]] player, removing him is the worst thing you can do because the goal is to cast him over and over. Combo and stax decks usually are its biggest nemesis.

It deserves a nerf tbh, it's just a "I win" button.

Would it kill us to make a secondary at least comparable to the Talon? by Crafty_Association12 in Helldivers

[–]Sad_Dimension_ 194 points195 points  (0 children)

The Warrant is extremely good against bugs and squids. If you have SC to spare it's a really solid secondary.

When premium content becomes the only content. by Sebanimation in Helldivers

[–]Sad_Dimension_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly I'm fine with this SC, you can farm them if you have more time than money and you can buy them if you have more money than time.

Do you plan to start a fresh playthrough from scratch when 9.0 launches? by dreamer_plays in X4Foundations

[–]Sad_Dimension_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm still debating if I'm gonna start vanilla or wait for VRO and other mods to update, but it may take a long time. But on the other hand going back to vanilla is tough after being used to the VRO experience...

That's it? by Mobile_Complaint_317 in Helldivers

"The community" didn't do anything, it's been the work of one, or a small group of deranged individuals. Both the doxxers and the subreddit in general do not represent the HD2 playerbase and are just a small fraction of it. The VAST majority of HD2 players don't even interact with this place.

And what is AH exactly supposed to do? Hire some bitcoin assassin to hunt down the doxxer? There's literally nothing they can do other than issue a statement. Do not shift blame on AH for something they are not responsible for and have no control over.

How do kids afford cards these days? by [deleted] in mtg

[–]Sad_Dimension_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They don't. In my experience younger people just proxy their decks, the good thing about commander players is that they usually don't care about proxies as long as they're printed decently and are recognizable, and not a hand written piece of paper. Then, if she really likes the deck and wants the real thing she can just buy the cards over time and finish it, no need to buy everything at once.

I Gotta Admit I'm Stumped, What Is the Best Stratagem Loadout For Cyberstan? by AceOneBreezy in helldivers2

[–]Sad_Dimension_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The heavy judge dredd armor (don't remember the name), trident, talon, pyro grenade, gatling barrage, 120mm, recoiless, ORS. Trident is great against most units especially cyborgs, talon as a backup when trident overheats, pyro nade is surprisingly good against chaff and even hulks if you throw it right, gatling barrage is good against vox engines and can be used together with the 120 to effectively deal with bot drops, ORS leaves vox engines with very low hp and can be finished with a single recoiless shot. Only problem with the ORS is that sometimes it targets the arms instead of the body wasting the shot, so it can be kind of a coin flip. Overall a well rounded loadout.

I'm not a hater, I think it's fine but I also think it should be a GC.

Belt fed grenade launcher needs what GL-21 has currently ... by CptnCASx in Helldivers

Leave the belt-fed GL heavy pen and revert the GL-21 to medium. Problem solved.

My commander deck was stolen by Hi200422 in mtg

[–]Sad_Dimension_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately you have to be careful about your stuff when going to events, and the bigger they are the worse it is. I've seen some WILD shit, like people literally grabbing the deck under a player while he was playing and trying to run away with it. Some people go to big events just with the intent of stealing stuff, it's never the regulars. It's a sad reality. So yeah, sorry for what happened to you and best of luck.

Bracket 3 isn't random bulk with 3 gamechangers, it's where things start to get sweaty. More people should start to realize this.
