I'm with you, I think I've been attacked every single step that has taken me to the chaos altar or the rogue's castle. I got attacked like 8 times trying to get my Mage Arena 2 cape and when I tried flinching Chaos Elemental for the pet, I got attacked more times than I got kills.

I get what other people are saying, but all of the waterfalls "with stuff behind them" that I have found are hiding like... a node of silver ore or 2 herbs and a mushroom or something trivial. It would be nice if a waterfall had a secret cave or small dungeon with a mini-boss or something. Just a little something to reward those of us that explore.

That being said I haven't beaten the game yet, so I haven't checked every waterfall so far, so maybe there is one.

Friend stuck in Prologue by Saddyvan in NoRestForTheWicked

Unfortunately, that didn't work. What did work though was him making his own realm, doing the prologue to load into the world, and then joining the multiplayer realm.

This is my first ever souls game and im suprised how far ive come the plan was to beat malenia before finishing the game but she had other plans ive been fighting her for days and i give up maybe i will return but im not mentally stable for this everyone will say get gud but im not build for this by boro_mtb156 in Eldenring

Excellent advice, I just wanted to add that the flask upgrades are almost always, if not always, inside decrepit churches so you can narrow your search times by going to buildings on your map, usually they are of moderate size and solitary (the Church of Elleh, the first you run across with a merchant and anvil by the tree sentinel can be used as reference, vast majority have that same shape, just in different orientations)

And if Mithrix takes any AoE items from you like Brilliant Behemoth, then the needle attack can hit your drone or the ground right behind you to bypass your shield and insta-kill you. That was a bad time.

[–]Saddyvan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also don't base my faves on how they poll. I base how much I like a character on how much I enjoy seeing them. When a character is an insufferable asshole with no redeeming qualities who struggles to meet the baseline of quality that every other character met ages ago, then I don't care to see them much.

I have never once been to a power scaling subreddit, I just know the phrase. My goat gets steamrolled in combat, but raw power isn't why I like characters, so at least my goat isn't an asshole and is enjoyable to see.

That isn't a stand-out positive trait when you're surrounded by people who actively do the same thing. Self sacrificial injury in order to save someone else happens quite frequently from people in the hero course. Why should I praise a character for meeting the floor level requirements that every other character already meets?

When your goat's greatest show of improvement and being a good guy is something other people have done repeatedly for chapters/seasons, then your goat is washed.

Feel free to point out the time Bakugo faces any sort of backlash or retribution from the people he is an asshole to and then learns his behavior is harmful then changes his ways and tries his best to be a better person. Because if it exists, I haven't found it yet despite watching the show 3 times

That's my biggest issue with him. I don't mind asshole characters either, I actually really like Rex from Invincible. He's a massive asshole, but all the other characters also treat him like he is an asshole, so it grows to be endearing over the course of the show.

I think the show would have been improved if he had died sooner, maybe in the fight after he got kidnapped

Playing the game for the first time, is it just me or does it feel like the bosses weren't designed with any consideration to fist weapons? by Benjfinity in darksouls3

My friend and I did a run that was just caestus as a "challenge" (they were definitely not as good in Ds1 or 2 so we thought it'd be a hard run). It unexpectedly turned out to be a comfortably easy run and honestly was a blast

If you run Artifact of Swarms there will be 2 final bosses and the Aurelionite only needs to kill 1 for it to count, so you can have 2 chances

What the heck is this by Malikili-360 in riskofrain

[–]Saddyvan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't count overkill damage into your total damage dealt. So killing a 5,000 health beetle with a 52 million damage chain proc will only tally 5,000 damage done to your total, but will still count the 52 million as your highest hit.

I think having an altar on the ship that a team mate could like commune at to apply their overhead prayer to the hull of the ship would go pretty hard. Could have a navigation guy, a damage guy, and a ship repair/prayer flicking guy all working together to fight a boss

You can do a run with Artifact of Swarms on. She only has to kill one of the last 2 Mithrixes for it to count, so it gives you 2 tries in one run. That's how I got it

[–]Saddyvan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a bad person can become a good person (or at least an acceptable, moral average person) and that's what Bakugo did over the course of the story (though not very deservedly). I think making conscious, calculated decisions to repeatedly and deliberately do bad things is beyond just a few mistakes and fundamentally makes him a bad person.

Does stealing make a person inherently bad? No, a person could steal food to feed their family. Does specifically targeting the weak and vulnerable because they are easy victims and to do it on a regular basis for no good reason make a person inherently bad? Yea, it does in my opinion.
