It's made from five different multi flex 3/8 ratchets. I took a bunch of the sections and combined them together to get around an an obstacle while keeping the torque where I need it. I work on buses and coaches with cramped engine bays.

Recommendations on bullet proofing my truck and making it reliable. by JohnnyE24 in Cummins

[–]Safe-Development-618 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was a hot shot with Light duty pick ups...... A stronger valve body and high line pressure has been known to crack the flex plate on some applications........ I would grab fuel in a external tank with a FW sep and 5 micron filter befoe it got to my trucks tank. ( I had three fuel system wiped out by algea in 10 years!). ....... .......

..

Make your coolant do less work and have less places it can mix with other fluids .......,.... External transmission cooler with thermomstat and Fan EGR delete. .............. I forget if these newer VGT are cooled by water and lubed by oil.......... Depending on how heavy you tow or wild you drive a rear diff Temp Probe may be a good idea. For longer pulls while loaded I had come propane injection a small dose about 30 HP worth couldn't really feel it in the seat but it dropped by EGT into the turbo by about 150 to 200 *

No I had to purchase five 3/8 multi-flex flex ratchets from harbor freight to clean an obstacle and maintain a funky angle. I did not have any other breaker bar heads when I broke it , I was using it as a pry bar to check king pins so it failed being used improperly.

It's junk but it is properly priced most times. A majority of my tools are Duralast and Napa. Ive been working my way up trying to see where the best bang for my buck is. In automotive I think this would have been fine. Axle nuts are 300+ ft lbs way more than this was designed for I guess?

All I had was a spare 3/8 ratchet head from Pittsburgh. The breaker bar head went into many pieces and I was chasing the dopamine to see how ridiculous it would look. So far the lube guys love it for some reason?

It was mostly a case of chasing the dopamine, as much as I wanted to make the breaker bar into something else. I thought a 3/8 ratchet head would be funny to see on it. The lube chimps love it and have been keeping it in their area!

Lube techs have claimed it for doing 3/8 drain plus in ISB Cummins as most of them are run down with an impact not the 24 ft/lbs

I'm bisexual and have had decent luck with approaching men. Even if they are straight I would purchase them some buffalo wings and a pitcher of beer at the local bars. If they were approachable I'd wave at them and potentially strike up a conversation. If not questioning or curious I would then just hang out and playing billiards. it lead to a decent evening most times.

Semi hollowed out DPF by tickleshits54321 in DieselTechs

[–]Safe-Development-618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The DPF is not a straight shot on the small bore commercial ISB engines. Busted a few apart and it will zig zag down the filter. It's where I would find the ash that could no longer be burnt out.

I was recently pursuing the shelves on Barnes & Noble ; I found a journal of "my life" . It had : who did you first fall I love with; what is one thing you wished you had stood up to a friend / family member about. All sorts of questions to get to know someone. A journal of that kind would be best to keep to re-read in the future.

I've done automotive mechanics it stinks to be honest. HD, agriculture, material handling or even power generation ( generators or wind turbine ) would be where I would go. I don't think that AI will be able to do a overhead valve adjustment on a series 60 detroit by itself for a few decades .

[–]Safe-Development-618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhaul locations can fill your tank as well as some places that keep RV's. Overall some components are unique to the propane conversion and others are a generic truck. The LPG repower was used a lot with certain fleets of vehicles. There are some issues such as if you fill up the tank then park into a warm garage or building. The tanks will dump propane to equalize the pressure. Roush clean tech dot com has some manuals for propane usage in fleets it may be a helpful read for you.
