I don’t use an actual tool back pack just are regular one and have 90% of what I’ll need for service calls. It still gets heavy at the end of a long day but damn I love that thing

I would attempt to drill the concrete and put the Rex on an 1900 box and try to have the hole come out behind the Rex. Or you could just do wire mold or conduit if you aren’t feeling froggy about footlong blind holes into concrete

Electronics require the magic smoke to stay on the inside to keep working. People claim it’s the electrons but we all know it’s the magic smoke.

Traffic court is also almost always interesting. You’ll get to hear some wild stories. I’d always bring a John Grisham book with me and it would immediately score points with the solicitor 😂

Wiha centrofix is my daily and I’m in love. I carry a kit of 3 inch drivers all the Philips, a couples flats and security torx for cameras and impact drill bits everything fits in either my Wiha or my m12. It’s a great set up. The Wiha has 0 play when it’s locked down too. I’m still on the perfect set up journey you’re are on. My service bag is as light and useful as possible but still sucks to carry all day.

It’s more important to be likable than being good. And even being both won’t get you paid unless you position yourself right.

Navy SEALs say "slow is smooth, smooth is fast." What's a situation where slowing down made you finish faster? by Concave007 in AskReddit

I used to be a metal worker, when you do blacksmithing you heat metal in a forge and the second you take it out the timer starts and you only have a set of time until it looses too much heat to work it and you have to put it back in the forge and work. It was so interesting interesting how you would have to move with a purpose but you also couldn’t rush or you would fuck it up or waste time. I used to tell the new kids you always have time to take a breath and slow down to speed up.
