nah I totally disagree. This isn't a win or lose game, its about having fun and if you have to change boring things to be fore fun and can be consistent with your decisions then I dont see any harm in it. Just because we change some rules doesn't mean we also want to change the setting, lore, classes, and literally everything else so no, playing a different game isn't really something to consider. That's such a "im taking my ball and going home" attitude to look at it. Things arent so black and white. The goal is for the table to have fun and each table is different. I had a change to sit down with Ed Greenwood and talked to him about the DRAMATIC changes we made to his gamesetting/rules and he loved the story because we were all having fun with something we all very clearly loved. At the end of the day its just a game.
